The offensive line is one of the most important positions on a football team. They decide how long the QB can stay in the pocket for, and create running lanes for their backs. The 2028 class is full of talent, with standouts like [player_tooltip player_id='983361' first='Davis' last='Moon'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1672272' first='Kanoa' last='Gillespie']. I selected some lineman I haven't evaluated yet, and give my take down below.

Catterfeld is a dominating presence at the right tackle position for Monarch. Measuring in at 6'4 295-pounds, he had 17 pancake blocks on the season. He's a polished tackle in my eyes, consistently winning the rep at the point of attack. Very good balance, body control, flexibility, and good knee bend. Good initial quickness out of his stance. Very strength, hand placement, and hand strength. Locks out and controls the defender creating lanes or extra time in the pocket. Good foot quickness and footwork to match the DL. Very good anchor, neutralizing the pass rush moves. Catterfeld has good acceleration and speed to get out in space and block on the perimeter. He consistently plays through the whistle as well. I like what I see on tape, and I'm sure he'll obtain some P4 offers as his high school career carries on.

Firmin measures in at 6'1 270-pounds, playing G for Erie. Firmin has good balance, body control, knee bend, and flexibility. Good initial quickness out of his stance, using his good hand speed to engage the DL. Maintains a low pad level throughout. Very good strength, hand strength, and good hand placement. Firmin does a good job at using his acceleration and speed to reach the 2nd level blocks and create rushing lanes for his running back. He has a good anchor as well and it stout in pass protection. Look out for Firmin to have another strength boosting off-season to demolish his opponents next-season.

McChesney is currently recovering from an injury sustained during the regular season. However, the 6'3 285-pound versatile lineman is a name to know going into the off-season. Very good balance, body control, knee bend, and flexibility. McChesney maintains a good initial quickness out of his stance, using his very good hand speed to engage the DL first. Very good strength, hand placement, and hand strength. He locks out the defender and steers them to create running lanes for his back. Very good foot quickness to match the defensive lineman. He has a stout anchor, solidifying his stance with very good leg strength and not budging. As you can tell, I'm very excited to see how he continues his development going into next season !

Ott is a rising star, already garnering offers from P4 programs ! He measures in at 6'4 310-pounds. He has very good balance, good knee bend and flexibility. Ott has very good initial quickness out of his stance using his very good hand speed to engage first. Very good strength, hand placement, and hand strength. Controls and steers defenders at will. He has good acceleration from 1st to 2nd level blocks in space or out in the open field on screens. Very good anchor as well. He goes a good job at combating pass rush moves. Ott has a very high ceiling, and I'm excited to see him continue to reach it.

Myers is another rising star amongst the Colorado offensive lineman, solidifying himself as a top 2028 prospect nationwide. The 6'5 277-pound prospect has very good knee bend, flexibility, body control, and good balance. Myers has very good strength, hand placement, and hand strength. He easily controls and steers the defenders at will. He has very good initial quickness, exploding into his stance. Myers has good footwork to match the defenders and good hand speed to combat pass rush moves too. Very good anchor. He dominates in both pass protection and the run game. I love his film and his physicality, and believe he will gain a handful of P4 offers in the off-season, and upcoming season.
