Talented New QBs on Our List (2027 Rankings Update)

He and Baker's passing attack took over the state, making him our #8 QB and #70 overall prospect. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>“<em>At 6'5 225, Graham has the prototypical build for the QB position. He has great size, impressive arm talent, and a clear understanding of what he needs to do with the ball. He's quick to scan the field, gets the ball out quickly, and is great at selling play action to create huge opportunities downfield.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>I can't lie, Graham has one of the best deep balls I've seen recently. He has terrific arm strength and ball placement that he uses to drop dimes over the tops of defenses for massive plays. I'm seriously impressed with how he hits his WRs in stride. Even if they're covered, he'll put the ball only where his guys can make a play on it. Graham should be on everyone's radar this fall- I'm not kidding.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Graham had an awesome junior year, dominating defenses every week and leading his team to a 9-3 record. I'm really excited to see Graham this upcoming season. He's a quick, smart decision-maker with the ball who gets his passes off within milliseconds of the snap, constantly keeping defenders on their toes.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>On top of that, Smith has a really talented arm. He can make tough throws all over the field, and even on the run. He has great ball placement on his passes and does a terrific job of hitting his WRs in stride to create explosive plays. We saw a ton of great things last season, but I think Pelham has a huge year on the horizon in 2026 with Smith leading the way. We all need to keep watch."</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I was especially impressed by Smith and WR [player_tooltip player_id='1867084' first='Marcus' last='Arnold']'s chemistry this past season; they connected for a ton of huge plays all year long. He has impressive arm strength, sees the field really well, and is a talented decision maker who always finds the open man.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>I'm really impressed with Fowler's deeper throws. He does an excellent job placing touch underneath his passes, lofting them just over the tops of defenders and right into his WRs hands. It's also impressive seeing how he can maneuver the pocket; he does a great job avoiding pressure and creating just enough time for himself to let off these deeper throws.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fowler put together some really impressive tape from last fall that you can check out below.
