Florida has long been a hotbed of high school football talent. Annually, Florida produces some of the nation's top prospects. Florida athletes are known for their speed, agility, and raw athleticism. These prospects have made names for themselves and have caught the attention of coaches and scouts at the collegiate level. With the 2025 season over, we're looking for players whose stock is rising in the state.

These players are all talented and have college-level abilities. Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.

There are some big-time, highly rated prospects and several sleeper prospects who should all be getting looks for the next level. This list is full of stud prospects.

Prep Redzone Florida will always support every player on their journey to playing college football.

Brody Halks – QB, Seven Rivers Christian
Height/Weight: 5'9”, 150 lbs
Season Stats: 991 passing yards, 43–86 (50.0%) completion, 14 TDs, 5 INTs; 10 carries for 69 yards

Scouting Report: Halks is a confident, aggressive passer who is willing to challenge defenses vertically. He shows good anticipation on throws and isn't afraid to fit the ball into tight windows. His quick release helps compensate for size, and he displays toughness standing in the pocket despite pressure.

Analysis: Halks projects as a developmental quarterback who thrives when the offense leans into timing and rhythm. Improving overall accuracy and decision-making consistency will elevate his efficiency, but his confidence, arm talent, and willingness to attack downfield provide a strong foundation.

Andrew Posey – QB, Harvest Community High
Height/Weight: 5'10”, 165 lbs
Season Stats: 1,480 passing yards, 91–177 (51.4%) completion, 11 TDs, 13 INTs; 138 carries for 606 yards and 6 TDs

Scouting Report: Posey is a tough, competitive dual-threat quarterback who brings athleticism to the position. He is most effective when using his legs to stress defenses and extend plays. As a passer, he shows flashes of accuracy on short and intermediate routes.

Analysis: Posey projects as a run-capable QB who fits well in option-based and spread systems. Cleaning up turnover tendencies and improving consistency from the pocket will be key, but his athleticism, durability, and playmaking ability give him clear upside.

Carter Good – QB, Marco Island Academy
Height/Weight: 6'0”, 185 lbs
Season Stats: 1,335 passing yards, 94–183 (51.4%) completion, 11 TDs, 9 INTs; 65 rushing yards and 3 TDs

Scouting Report: Good is a steady pocket passer with good size and a calm presence under center. He shows the ability to work through progressions and delivers the ball with adequate velocity. His mobility is functional, allowing him to escape pressure when needed.

Analysis: Good projects as a traditional quarterback who can operate a structured offensive system. Improving ball placement and limiting mistakes will raise his efficiency, but his frame, poise, and experience provide a solid baseline for continued development.

Cody Waters – QB, Oxbridge Academy
Height/Weight: 6'0”, 185 lbs
Season Stats: 1,313 passing yards, 106–195 (54.4%) completion, 9 TDs, 7 INTs; 74 carries for 212 yards

Scouting Report: Waters is a composed quarterback with reliable mechanics and solid accuracy in the short-to-intermediate game. He shows good awareness in the pocket and uses his legs effectively to pick up yards when plays break down.

Analysis: Waters projects as a timing-based quarterback who can efficiently manage an offense. Continued growth in downfield aggression and red-zone production will improve his impact, but his decision-making and mobility already make him a dependable option.

Connor Luckado – QB, Cornerstone Charter Academy
Height/Weight: N/A
Season Stats: 1,190 passing yards, 81–146 (55.5%) completion, 11 TDs, 6 INTs

Scouting Report: Luckado is an efficient passer who values ball security and accuracy. He shows good touch on short and intermediate throws and operates well within structure. His completion percentage reflects a quarterback comfortable making smart, calculated decisions.

Analysis: Luckado projects as a system quarterback who can keep an offense on schedule. Adding more explosiveness to his passing profile will raise his ceiling, but his efficiency and decision-making already stand out.

Drew Sitar – QB, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic
Height/Weight: 6'0”, 170 lbs
Season Stats: 1,072 passing yards, 69–127 (54.3%) completion, 10 TDs, 7 INTs; 64 carries for 217 yards and 6 TDs

Scouting Report: Sitar is a balanced quarterback who contributes both as a passer and runner. He shows good toughness, competitive instincts, and the ability to create plays outside the pocket. His rushing ability adds a valuable layer to the offense.

Analysis: Sitar projects as a dual-threat QB who fits well in spread and read-option concepts. Improving passing consistency and timing will help unlock his full potential, but his athleticism and scoring ability make him a reliable offensive weapon.
