Running Back Evaluations from the 2027 Rankings

I first came across Eric in the <strong><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2024/09/standout-players-from-rustburg-vs-brookville/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">2024 season</a></strong>, and I was impressed by the few reps he had as the backup running back at the time. He displays good balance and short area quickness as a runner with solid speed. He can be utilized as an inside and outside runner. Has good vision and patience in the backfield with solid burst through the hole with good balance and strength to keep his feet. Good finish as a runner, keeping his legs moving through contact. His tape shows very good athletic ability with very good foot speed, acceleration, and short-area quickness. Displays very good vision and ability to create yards with his athleticism, with good burst and balance as a runner. Very good elusiveness on the second level with breakaway speed in the open field. Recently, he received an offer from Temple, and more will follow. He has the strength and balance to be utilized on inside running schemes and the athleticism to stretch the field on outside running schemes. Good strength and balance as a runner allow him to keep his feet through the hole. A power runner who displays good strength and solid balance as a runner who is tough to bring down on the first hit. Not a high-end elusive runner, but he does a good job making cuts to set himself up to break tackles with his strength with good finish on his runs. He is registered for our Winter Combine, and I am intrigued to see how he performs there. He is a physically tough Running Back and Linebacker for Marshall, playing in their Option offense. He shows good run strength, power, and physical toughness. He has quick acceleration and good short-area quickness as a runner. His size will likely see him at Running Back at the next level.
