We added over one hundred players with many more added to our Watch List. We are impressed with the level of talent and ability found in the class of 2027, and we believe this may go down as one of the best overall classes we will see in recent years. With that said, I want to focus on the players who are ranked 200 and below. He is a good Athlete with good speed, acceleration, change of direction, and explosiveness. Solid release off the ball into his routes, using his speed and athleticism in his stem to separate quickly at the top of his routes. An elusive runner with the ball with good top-end speed in the open field. Also a contributor on special teams and earned 1st Team All-Region honors as a kick returner. Quick acceleration downhill, attacking the line of scrimmage, using his speed, hands, and quickness to rip past the Offensive Line to get into the backfield. Good closing speed on the QB. Solid range in defending the outside run. Shows he can operate in Zone and Man coverages in pass defense. You quickly see on tape that his route running and hands stick out in his game. He has good release off the line of scrimmage and does a good job at the top of his route to create separation. He has solid athletic ability and plays with good physical toughness. He is a willing blocker for his teammates and runs hard on every route even when the ball is not thrown his way. His size, length, and physicality make him a major threat on the outside for anyone he faces. He can play in both Press and Off coverages and shows he can Jam at the line of scrimmage. A solid athlete with solid Change of Direction and hip fluidity and good downhill speed. A good open field tackler and can come up in the box in run defense. A solid route runner with solid separation quickness, with good hands. Good ball carrier, shows good burst and elusiveness with the ball, with solid open-field speed, and he will lower his shoulder through contact.
