The MAC Blue consistently brings along great talent. In this article, we'll be taking a look at a few class of 2029, 2028, and 2027 prospects whose highlight tape impresses me.

Vincent is a highly intriguing young QB prospect at Port Huron Northern. Seeing him briefly last offseason, I know his arm talent is far above average for his age. The tape shows the same thing: Vincent has a Varsity arm and showed several good flashes this past season. A couple of deep balls and a few great off-schedule plays headline his passing highlights- very promising, but still a ways to go in several areas, which is normal.

I'm actually most impressed with Vincent's rushing ability. He's an above-average athlete for his age, while being far above average in terms of effort and contact balance. Vincent does an excellent job keeping his feet moving through contact. All in all, it was a very promising freshman season for Vincent, and he should take another leap next season.

Steven served as a solid interior defensive lineman for Cousino. His first three highlights showcase an ability to keep his feet moving upfield, pushing back against the opposing OG. At 1:00, Steven showcases good anchor, fighting to stand his ground and eventually come down with a tackle. Similarly, 1:12 showcases good anchor. Steven is a difficult DT to move.

I really like Steven's foundation. He keeps his feet moving and knows how to anchor himself in a gap. This offseason, I'd love to see Steven upgrade his explosiveness, conditioning, and upper-body technique. Potentially a good college prospect by next season, I'm looking forward to seeing how Steven improves.

Man, I'm excited to see what Parrison does this year. Last year, Parrison was an extremely dynamic player for Port Huron, earning snaps at DE, OLB, and RB.

Offensively, Parrison flashes good contact balance and physicality. Check out the highlight at 1:00: Parrison earns an easy 5 yards before fighting through several tackles and breaking into the open field. His speed isn't where it needs to be yet at RB, but I do really like his upside as a power RB.

Defensively, Parrison is a physical DE who is starting to build up his play speed and IQ. Parrison has a decent tackle radius, and he does a solid job getting around slower offensive tackles. Plus, he's as physical as they come for the Class of 2028. I'd love to see Parrison improve upon his bend, explosiveness, and overall upper-body technique leading into next fall.

A truly breakout season for Matt Dixon. I'm intrigued by his stats, and his film makes me confident that he'll be able to perform well against good Varsity competition next season.

0:42 is a good introduction to Matt's game on offense. Matt runs his seam route toward the middle of the field, catches the ball in stride, and has the awareness to quickly sidestep a defender before sprinting upfield. I feel that Matt could have scored a TD with a well-timed outside move, but still, it's a very good highlight. Then, at 1:56, Matt gets extremely close to a tough 1st down against Groves, doing a great job of exploding upfield once he makes the catch.

I'd also like to mention the highlight at 2:20 (safety). Many safeties have trouble stopping outside toss, especially with blockers in the way. Matt does a good job working downhill, evading a would-be blocker, and making the tackle.

I'm very intrigued by Matt's burst and all-around athletic profile. He seems like a twitchy athlete, and he's starting to learn how to best utilize his skillset on both sides of the ball. Offensively, there's a ton of upside as a speed-in-space player. Defensively, I love how his athletic profile could translate to zone coverage and stopping those "speed in space" plays.

I like what Cooper showed this past season at linebacker and on special teams. As an off-ball linebacker, Cooper did a solid job of defending the inside run. He's physical enough to stand his ground versus O-Linemen blocking at the second level. Plus, he's developing well when it comes to reading the offense, and reacting quickly.

I also appreciate Cooper's effort on special teams.
