Iowa Class 2A District 5 Top Sophomore Offensive Weapons

He had 61 carries for 271 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was also the primary kickoff returner with 12 returns for 227 yards. On film Laban is a very patient runner with good vision. He runs with a wide base and has a quick first vertical step after hitting a lateral move to hit a hole. Charlie rushed for 262 yards on 51 carries and racked up 3 touchdowns. On film, Hurley stands out as a very athletic runner who is able to avoid contact and is athletic enough to be able to run through ankle tackles. He is elusive with quick feet. He had 25 carries for 72 yards. The Panthers had a tough year, which meant that many young players received meaningful reps. Although Spahr does not have any film up, his frame should lead to being a better running back next year. Jasper returned 6 kickoffs for 106 yards. He averaged 17.7 yards per return. He also caught a couple of passes. He caught 15 passes for a total of 145 yards and 1 touchdown. Owen was the biggest threat as a kick returner. He averaged 28 yards per kick return and 11 yards per punt return.
