He is a natural peddler, quick in transition and breaks fast to the ball in the air with plus length to break up passes underneath and disciplined eyes in zone coverage, often baiting bad throws over the middle or in the flats. He shows he is always around the ball forcing turnovers and is scrappy when getting off blockers and setting the edge. He plays well beyond his years and at a very high level and is going to gather plenty of attention over the next 18 months. He is a smooth mover out of his stance, shows quick feet and a balanced core when engaging and plays with good leverage and power for his size. He does a nice job using his length to keep rushers off his chest and has finish abilities downfield with nasty intentions. He is a technician in the tranches that can get to the second level, block in space and pull across the line, running through defenders and showing a violent finish. In pass protection, he has a strong and balanced base, patient hands and stays within his frame while a high IQ protector that is not passive in his set. He has plenty of varsity experience heading into his junior season for a loaded Rancho Cucamonga roster and should have a breakout Junior season and see his stock rise this fall and through the rest of the off-season.
