Explosive Playmakers Added to the 2029 Rankings

We added more than 90 prospects to our rankings in Ohio last month for the Class of 2029. In our next article and multi-part series, we break down four new additions and will continue to do so throughout the month of February. These four early risers have a chance to become high-impact players in the fall and beyond.    [player_tooltip player_id='1524731' first='Luke' last='Blevins'] has a lot of potential as a tailback for Shelby High School. Blevins is strong at running both off-tackle as well as an inside runner. He can bounce off would-be tacklers, maintain balance in the open field and keep his legs moving on contact. Blevins finishes forward and flashes good second-level burst. He is also a return specialist, where his vision and ability to pick and choose running lanes is uncanny. Keep an eye on his development, 6-foot-0, 181-pound frame has plenty of time and room to grow.     What stands out about [player_tooltip player_id='2045451' first='DeMariea' last='Laster'] is his disruptiveness, quickness and ability to shoot through gaps at the line of scrimmage and make behind-the-LOS tackles with ease. HE is very instinctive, flashes twitch and often wraps up ballcarriers before they have a chance to decide where to go. Has huge potential; growth in both size and strength and will be the key to his recruiting.     [player_tooltip player_id='1617050' first='Carter' last='Baldwin'] is a ferocious run blocker. Tough, physical and very quick-footed for his size and bulk, Baldwin is a mauler in the trenches, especially on power and counter runs. Baldwin is a great puller who can get flat across the LOS, fire forward across the LOS and find a moving target to block at the second level. Really impressive fundamentals and technique for a freshman who looks primed for growth.     [player_tooltip player_id='1646899' first='Cordez' last='Feliciano'] saw varsity playing time as a freshman, and the 5-foot-8, 155-pound quarterback made the most of it, flashing a quick release and on-time, accurate passes in the short/intermediate game. He will look to bounce back in 2026 after suffering an injury in Week 6 last fall that sidelined him for the rest of the year.
