[player_tooltip player_id='2099638' first='Hadey' last='Naser'] is a rising OL for the Cougars. Standing at 6'2 270, Naser has a good base on contact and doesn't stop his feet through contact. He does a good job refitting his hands in the run game. Naser works well on DBL teams to bump and climb. On pulls, he understands his assignment, scans for work, and consistnetly finds the right backer to block. In pass pro, Naser is patient and times his strikes well. He shows different techniques to win blocks including getting extension and burying guys, independent hands, and a strong strikes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1654373' first='Ryan' last='Ayres'] is on the rise to be a potential All State player in the next two years. One thing that pops out to me about Ayres' game is his ability to take off the field drill work and see it show up on film. Gaining extension on contact through the hips, locking out OL shedding and making a tackle - clinic sled work. Another technique he's polished is his stick dip and rip, using this to pry his way into to backfield for TFLs in the run game. Hes got a quick spin move and ice pick to seal OTs inside which counters well off the DL movements built into the defense. Ayres is also very effective on stunts, staying tight as the looper. Finally, he has a knack for sniffing out screens. In 11 games as a Soph, he finished with 15 hurries, 3.5 sacks, 12 TFLs, and 55 TKLs. I like Ayres' toolbox and think he's got potential to be a game-wrecker as he matures.

Ibraheem Zuraigat has tremendous size and strength as a combo kicker/punter at 6'1 200. This shows off on his KOs and punts where he is continuing to develop his consistency. On PATs this season he was 18 of 21 showing his consistency. Excited to see more film of Zuraigat and see him develop as he has great size and strength for the position. He is currently a 3.5 star Kohls rating at both Kicker and Punter.

Elijah Hall is a two-way player for Cherokee Trail. At Safety, he shows a smooth backpedal and weave. He shows an understanding of offense's MO's when rotating out of the coverage shell, getting his eyes across the field early for threats coming his way. This anticipate led to multiple INTs and PBUs this season and over the summer 7on7 circuit. In run support, Hall takes great angles in pursuit coming downhill and sideline to sideline. Offensively, Hall shows some shiftiness at the LOS to threaten a 2-way go and get off press tight coverage.

After a tremendous showing at the Prep Redzone Stock Up showcase, I had to check out Soph [player_tooltip player_id='1672272' first='Kanoa' last='Gillespie']'s tape. Fellow Prep Redzone scout Matt Tate detailed his performance HERE and his highlight tape from his 8 varsity starts this season backup his showcase performance showing the loads of potential he has.

The first thing I loved was how tight his elbows were when he fits up the the run game, utilizing good hand placement to grip up and create displacement. He consistently drives his feet after contact and does a great job getting two cleats in the ground before striking. He is quick out of his stance which helps help reach DL often. He's also got great balance to maintain blocks at awkward angles downfield. In pass pro, Kanoa shows the ability to quickly vertical set keeping his feet close to the ground - at times he can over set by a step or two, but has the quickness to redirect inside and run DL through. I'm sure he will work on that going into next season.
