[player_tooltip player_id='2061088' first='Stevan' last='Pantelic'] is a starting defensive end for Crown Point. Pantelic takes great angles the ball. He is a strong pass rusher especially who can turn the corner, shed blocks and pressure the quarterback. Flashes great first-step quickness and solid edge speed to win at the corner, dip his shoulder and be a threat. Pantelic is also very disruptive on special teams with a record of blocking punts and creating chaos for blockers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2061027' first='Logan' last='Frieden'] had 1,947 total yards, including 1,626 passing yards and 15 total touchdowns for Homestead. Frieden flashes solid accuracy on the deep ball and has enough mobility to elude rushers under pressure, buy time and pull the trigger. Frieden is a legitimate dual-threat who can make defenders miss with his legs. College coaches will get a closer look at him this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2061019' first='Grayson' last='Carter'] earned an addition to our rankings due to his size, strength and physical nature as a top defender for Evansville Reitz. At 6-foot-1, 205 pounds, he is very instinctive, flows to the ball, takes great pursuit angles and is a proven open-field tackler. He can fit the run, keep his shoulders parallel and play with adequate bend without breaking contain. Also plays lacrosse, high academic prospect.

Playing for the state runner-ups, [player_tooltip player_id='2061072' first='Owen' last='Weaver'] will be a key returner on a Saints squad looking to make a return trip to Lucas Oil Stadium. Weaver is a very good contributor on special teams. He takes great angles downfield, pursues, takes great angles and flashes very good range. I would expect his role to increase heading into his senior season.
