Additional 2027 Kansas Prospects to Watch

These prospects will range from the Western Athletic Conference out West to the Big East League out East. The 6-foot-2, 270-pound defensive tackle is a big reason Hays made the 5A State Title game as a sophomore and another good run this past season as a junior. Also another stellar student-athlete, he holds a 4.0 GPA. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Explosive and athletic defensive lineman who brings really good strength and a desirable frame to build upon at the next level. In the weight room he has shown off that strength by posting a 395-pound bench, a 570-pound squat and lastly a 365-pound clean. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Plays with very solid pad level and leverage. Also shows good fundamentals when it comes to proper hand placement and usage. Able to engage and shed blockers very easily. Sure his height first catches peoples attention but that should not overshadow all of the wonderful attributes this dual-threat quarterback brings to the Mustangs. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">First and foremost he is a field general and a bonafide leader. He is a big reason Salina Central won the class 5A State Championship this past fall. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">He possess an arm much stronger than most assume and can really zip the ball in there to his receivers in the short and intermediate game. Though he can attack all three levels of the field effectively. Hall was 138 for 209 passing for 1,827 yards, 29 touchdowns (school record) and only two interceptions. Overall passing wise he had a 66% completion percentage. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">His ability to improvise, move in the pocket smoothly and throw with different arm angles is a major plus. He shows good speed and elusiveness on the ground when it comes to moving around in the pocket, scrambling or taking off on a designed quarterback run. This past season he rushed for 980-yards on 155 carries and nine touchdowns. Has good strong hands and knows how to use them to help ability to pass rush or defeat blockers in the run game.
