The Winter rankings update for the Class of 2028 was its biggest yet.

All told, 72 players joined the list.

All three phases of the game are now further represented, and nearly every positional group on the field increased its overall number of players. This class has two more seasons of high school football ahead of it, but the still-too-early assessment of it includes a solid foundation.

One by one, we're going to introduce you to each of the new additions in the Prep RedZone Class of 2028 rankings. Here's the fourth and final crop of new faces.

[player_tooltip player_id='1771838' first='Kaden' last='Goff'] LB, Newberry - In first real season on varsity, was Bulldogs' second-leading tackler and finished with double-digit tackles for loss.

[player_tooltip player_id='2067768' first='Sloan' last='Sanders'] DB, Wren - Sanders gives the Hurricanes a stout tackler on the backside of the defense, but also a high-IQ defender who knows when to crash

[player_tooltip player_id='1816896' first='Jonah' last='Young'] QB, Rock Hill - Got onto the field after an injury, and now might be only a little bit of size from turning some heads at this level and the next

[player_tooltip player_id='2098783' first='Tyler' last='Stafford'] LB, Oceanside Collegiate - Became a late-October varsity contributor and averaged nearly seven tackles per game during playoff run

[player_tooltip player_id='2098877' first='Jaylen' last='Prior'] LB, Summerville - Has the prototypical size - and now the experience - to develop into one of the state's best linebackers

[player_tooltip player_id='1816457' first='Andrew' last='Frick'] QB, Brookland-Cayce - Once he cleans up some of his interceptions, his already stout numbers are only going to continue to improve

[player_tooltip player_id='2098897' first='Charles' last='Callaham'] LB, Ware Shoals - We labeled him as a linebacker, but there's no shortage of spots he can play from the line to the secondary

[player_tooltip player_id='1508020' first='Issack' last='Staley'] LB, Midland Valley - Stepped into the role left by one of the school's all-time best linebackers and immediately filled the role splendidly

[player_tooltip player_id='1818416' first='Zy' last='Rouse'] ATH, Strom Thurmond - Was a bit of a Swiss Army knife while awaiting his turn at quarterback for the defending state champs

[player_tooltip player_id='1817499' first='Jay' last='Todd'] LB, Loris - The Lions' next standout linebacker is here, and he he added some offensive responsibilities to his 113 total tackles in 2025

[player_tooltip player_id='1790580' first='Jacob' last='Owings'] QB, Wren - Blends some mobility with a completion percentage well above 60 and plenty of confidence from a coaching staff who loves his arm

[player_tooltip player_id='1825202' first='Lavay' last='Penny'] LB, Camden - At 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds, Penny is already well on his way to putting himself on a variety of short lists after piling up 128 tackles

[player_tooltip player_id='1817711' first='Nico' last='Miller'] K/P, North Myrtle Beach (pictured) - The most consistent Chief from last fall was 20-of-20 on PATs and seven-of-seven on his field goals, the longest coming from 41

[player_tooltip player_id='1816961' first='Demarcus' last='King'] DL, Summerville - Go ahead and plan on paying attention to this edge for the next two seasons; he's already proved his abilities

[player_tooltip player_id='1824234' first='Tyler' last='Garner'] WR, Oceanside Collegiate - Morphed into the starting lineup, then produced nearly 600 yards and five touchdowns worth of offense

[player_tooltip player_id='1821952' first='Kareem' last='Dupree'] DB, Dutch Fork - Ballhawking safety turned it on down the homestretch and has the look of next Silver Fox top-end talent

[player_tooltip player_id='1819172' first='Isaac' last='Lorentz'] K/P, James Island - We know this is a shock here, but James Island has yet another star specialist who can kick the %&#@ out of a football

[player_tooltip player_id='2098782' first='Nasir' last='Walker'] DL, AC Flora - The college interest train has left the station for Walker, and his frame, burst and production value is only going to add to the pace
