The Winter rankings update for the Class of 2028 was its biggest yet.

All told, 72 players joined the list.

All three phases of the game are now further represented, and nearly every positional group on the field increased its overall number of players. This class has two more seasons of high school football ahead of it, but the still-too-early assessment of it includes a solid foundation.

One by one, let's introduce you to each of the new additions in the Prep RedZone Class of 2028 rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='1822040' first='Malachi' last='Graham'] WR/DB, Marion - Does everything but play on the line: catches passes, runs the ball, makes tackles, drops into coverage and returns punts and kickoffs

[player_tooltip player_id='1818010' first='Sam' last='Peters'] LB, Academic Magnet - Made up for some injuries and attrition by rising quickly and leading the team with more than 110 tackles

[player_tooltip player_id='1818365' first='Kameron' last='Geathers'] DL, Fort Dorchester - Undersized down lineman used his footwork to compete - and circumvent - opposing blockers

[player_tooltip player_id='2098894' first='Diego' last='Tranquilino'] K, Woodruff - Stocky kicker finished the year 54-of-55 on PATs and five-of-seven on his field goals

[player_tooltip player_id='1825017' first='Trent' last='Singleton'] WR/DB, Georgetown - Got more than enough exposure this fall while preparing for a much bigger role for the Bulldogs

[player_tooltip player_id='1818942' first='Cory' last='Collins'] DL, Hillcrest (pictured) - Hybrid lineman can slip outside, but his size makes him an early natural for tackle; either way, he's got a problematic burst

[player_tooltip player_id='1821793' first='Everett' last='Ulmer'] LB, Andrew Jackson Academy - Made the best of a rough situation at AJA by staying on the field and piling up nearly 90 tackles and 15 TFL

[player_tooltip player_id='1821088' first='Nehemiah' last='Lomax'] OL/DL, Christ Church - Budding edge blocker is still seeing some time on the defensive line, and likely will continue two-way role

[player_tooltip player_id='1816910' first='LaBrice' last='Purvis'] WR/DB, Marlboro County - Didn't waste any time becoming the Bulldogs' new leading receiver while also picking off a pass and recovering a fumble

[player_tooltip player_id='1816841' first='Easton' last='Catto'] DL, Dorman - Has the type of length college programs are clamoring for off the edge and should be on the field much more as a junior

[player_tooltip player_id='1691963' first='Jaedon' last='Bell'] QB, Bethune Bowman - Still raw, but mobility has more than bought him some time to continue developing as a passer

[player_tooltip player_id='1816849' first='Brady' last='Whetzel'] DB, West Ashley - His 57 total tackles were nice; his three interceptions and four forced fumbles were an indication of turning this thing around

[player_tooltip player_id='2098892' first='Xavier' last='Greggs'] ATH, Waccamaw - Saw time at seven different positions as a sophomore while program experimented to find his new home for 2026

[player_tooltip player_id='379094' first='Lyndez' last='Smith'] DL, Eastside - Recovered from a summertime injury to not only play defensive end but also some tailback for the Eagles

[player_tooltip player_id='1816916' first='Khrishawn' last='Smith'] RB, Marlboro County - The Bulldogs' feature back of the future scored eight touchdowns and ran for 451 yards as a sophomore

[player_tooltip player_id='1818192' first='Bradley' last='Runion'] LB, Pendleton - Mixed in plenty of impact numbers (seven TFL, two INT, two FR, one sack) in with 84 total tackles

[player_tooltip player_id='1773739' first='Coleson' last='Marino'] WR, Emerald - Baseball standout just so happened to be the Vikings' top receiver in terms of catches (38), yards (533) and touchdowns (six)

[player_tooltip player_id='1651200' first='Peyton' last='Stevenson'] WR, Riverside - Stayed under the radar some because of his size, but we think those days are over
