– Showed glimpses of having the ability to take over the game on both sides of the ball
– Nicknamed “Beast Mode”, he’s a load as a dual-threat quarterback and an interior defensive linemen–a combination you won’t see too often
– Did a nice job a year ago on the sixth grade South Carolina Future Stars team, but came back this year a much improved player. Noticeably more athletic and considerably quicker
– Not sure what the future will hold for him on the field. I’ve listed him as an athlete because of what he does on the offensive side of the ball. However, if I was a betting man, I’d say he projects to an athletic interior defensive lineman. Time will tell

A year ago Smith was selected to the South Carolina sixth-grade Future Stars team as a defensive linemen and did a really nice job. Fast forward a year later and Smith is back at Future Stars, but as a quarterback. He’s a big, strong kid that doesn’t have the conventional quarterback build but it works for him. He’s a load to bring down and made running the RPO look easy. I don’t know what position he’ll play long term, but at this point he passes the test as an ATH.

As destructive a Defensive Lineman in South Carolina as they come in the class of 2028. Right now is in the 5-foot-8, 220-pound range and can play either Defensive Tackle or Defensive End. Moved with the quickness of a Running Back in short-range situations but arrives with power. In his film, is also more of an athlete than one would think. On one play in particular, he braces himself off a cut block, engulfs a Running Back and then strips the ball in one motion, before breaking away for a Touchdown. Impressive.
