Because we cover football year-round, making sure that all the athletes get their exposure is something that we have done since the first day here at Prep Redzone Florida.

With our combine coming up next month (January 18th) in Winter Park, our objective is to continue showcasing the many talented football players we have in this impressive state.

2028 – [player_tooltip player_id='1073722' first='Kameron' last='Battle'], 5'10, 185, Tampa Carrollwood Day. Here is one of the elite sophomores in the state. Someone who helped to not only win the district and capture a regional title, but he and his program advanced to the 1A state semifinals before losing to eventual state champion West Palm Beach Cardinal Newman. His 2,036 yards was good enough for fifth in the state. He also scored 27 touchdowns and had 340 receiving yards.

2027 - Damien “Damo” Grant, RB, 5'8, 180, Southwest Ranches Archbishop McCarthy – 3.0 GPA. There were many reasons why this program won the district and advanced to the region championship, and this junior standout was certainly one of them. Among the best in the state this past year, he will easily be a top rising senior for the 2026 season. Ended the season with a tough loss to eventual 4A state champion Plantation American Heritage, but not before he ran for 1,200 yards, caught three balls out of the backfield and accounted for 14 touchdowns for a Maverick team that will be back this coming season.

2027 – Toryeon James, 5'9, 160, Sarasota Riverview. Another of the elite backs that helped the Rams make a splash this season in a competitive season. One of Florida's elite line from scrimmage runners who continued to get better as the season progressed. Had 209 touches, 2,128 rushing yards, 31 touchdowns as well as 190 receiving yards. His return will give this team something to start with in 2026!

2027 – Ninaud “Nino” Joseph, RB, 5'7, 185, Naples Lely – 3.2 GPA. This past season, in leading the Trojans to the state playoffs once again, he ran for 1,975 yards and caught 14 balls for 161 yards. His season included 25 touchdowns and 2,136 total yards. So far in his brilliant career, he has put up 4,706 rushing yards and 57 touchdowns, 28 receptions, 402 yards 3 and touchdowns. He has 5,108 total offensive yards and 60 scores. Impressive!

2026 – [player_tooltip player_id='2069897' first='Walson' last='Morin'], 5'10, 165, Key West. While sometimes we forget that they play football in the beautiful Florida Keys we are often reminded when a talented young man like this comes along to give us some talent to keep an eye on. As the Conchs once again advanced to the state playoffs, there were several players who made an impact. But at the end of the season, this impressive runner showed why he was a catalyst with 1,802 yards and 18 touchdowns, which added up to 162 yards per game.

2026 – Georondre “J.P” Pittman, 6'0, 170, Monticello Jefferson County – 3.5 GPA. Not only was this quality prospect impressive as an all-purpose prospect with 761 rushing yards, but he also added 186 through the air and as kick returner for 1,249 total yards and 10 touchdowns. By the way, his impact on defense was special as well with 50 tackles, one interception and five passes defensed.

2027 - Cecil Smith, 5'8, 165, Miami True North Classical Academy – 3.2 GPA. From his freshman year at Homestead when the Broncos were grooming him to fill the rather large shoes of Isaac Brown, to this past season when he made quite a splash for the Titans during a district championship season, rushing for 1,400 yards on 129 carries with 524 receiving yards on 28 receptions for 2,134 all-purpose yards 18 touchdowns. He is indeed the real deal and will pick up plenty of momentum this off-season.

2027 - [player_tooltip player_id='1685404' first='Jahnard' last='Young'], 5'11, 200, Sunrise Piper – 3.4 GPA. Last off-season when he left Vero Beach after a very productive sophomore season, there were those in the Indian River area who felt that one of the top prospects in the state of Florida, for the Class of 2027, had left a team that felt they were one of the best. From the time he returned to south Florida, this was a gifted prospect that made a major impact – at camps, combines and spring events. Helping the Bengals return to the post-season, he ran for 1,395 yards and 22 touchdowns. He returns as one of the top prospects in the state, and if colleges overlook him, they will kick themselves later. He brings all the positives to the table!
