Under Armour Shines Spotlight On Florida

DELAND – It's 2026 Under Armour Next All-America Game time.   More than 60 players appearing on Team Roses and Team Pearls for the top 100 talents in the Class of 2026 or 2027 will again showcase the nation's top high school football talent at the sport's preeminent grassroots event.    The annual game is set for this Saturday, Jan. 3, at Spec Martin Stadium – to the east of Orlando and will kick at 4 p.m.   ESPN will once again serve as the home of the Under Armour Next All-America Game. The network will air the game both on its linear network and its ESPN YouTube channel, with the premiere airing at 4 p.m. ET on Jan. 3 on YouTube. ESPN's linear airings of the game will debut at 11 p.m. ET on Jan. 4 on ESPN2.    More than 90 players are ranked in the ESPN 300 for the senior and junior class rankings, with eight of those prospects earning the distinction of Team Captain this year. Team Pearls will be led by Class of 2026 prospects No. 21 DB Jett Washington and No. 35 QB Ryder Lyons, along with Class of 2027 stars No. 2 WR Jamier Bown and No. 6 DL Jalen Brewster. A trio of Class of 2026 standouts will lead Team Roses, including No. 1 DL Lamar Brown, No. 16 DB Jireh Edwards and No. 28 Ethan “Boobie” Feaster. Class of 2027 No. 19 WR Xavier Sabb is the fourth captain for Team Roses.    For the second time in the event's history, the top junior prospects have been invited to compete in the game. Of the over 100-player roster, more than 60 standouts from the Class of 2027 are expected to participate, including 13 top 20 prospects. In total, nearly 100 players appear in the ESPN300 for the Class of 2026 or Class of 2027.    This year's group of Under Armour Next All-Americans from the Class of 2026 has signed to 22 different programs across the country, six of which – Ohio State, Texas Tech, Oregon, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Oklahoma – earned berths into the College Football Playoff.    FLORIDA WILL BE WELL REPRESENTED   Over the past decade, with the addition of IMG Academy in Bradenton, the state of Florida has remained in the spotlight, and this year will be no exception.   In addition to the local players, who compete at traditional Florida schools, there will be a number of elite prospects competing.
