With snow prepared to roll into the Hudson Valley, Athletes from across the North East packed into Hudson Sports Complex to compete, and showcase their skills at the Prep Redzone NY Stock Up Showcase. This was our first edition of the Showcase, which had its own event, after pairing with NJ for multiple years. With 6 Running Backs in attendance in Warwick, we take a look at some of the top performers from the showcase at the RB position, including my personal RB MVP.

First on the standout list is [player_tooltip player_id='1513218' first='Jordan' last='Bishop']. The Cornwall Central RB, had a great showcase in Warwick, and solidified himself as one of the top backs in a loaded 2027 class. In 1v1 Drills, I liked his ability to make catches. He showed a good release, and hands making multiple tricky catches. In Indy RB drills, he showed quick feet, and good instincts. He ran angry at the ground, and showed he could make cuts and change his direction throughout the play. Bishop is a smart, physical, and talented RB, and going into his senior season, I will be watching him closely, and so should college.

Lach was an immediate standout in Warwick. After seeing him check into the event, I had to double check my notes. Lach measured 5'11" 200-Pounds as a Freshman which is outstanding, and College Ready for a RB. He backed up his size with his performance all afternoon, displaying quick footwork, and the ability move downfield through reps. In 1v1 drills, he beat multiple LB's and made good catches, showcasing a good pass catching ability. Lach will find himself ranked highly when the initial 2029 rankings release.

Fry is an intriguing prospect to me. In my opinion, he can play both WR, and RB. I personally like him more as a WR given his 5'11" 175-Pound frame, but he showed potential as a RB. Fry would need to gain weight to fill out his frame, and I think he would. As a RB, he was the quickest guy in Warwick. He displayed the ability to outrun everyone, and destroy chase down angles with his pure speed. I like his footwork, and his quick burst, allows him to make quick changes, and avoid defenders with quick moves. Fry is one of the top players in the 2028 class, and he has a bright future ahead of him.

Your RB MVP from the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase is [player_tooltip player_id='1274643' first='Christian' last='Bordeaux']. Bordeaux looks like he played in the NFL for 10 years. He was built strong, and was massive. He measured in at 5'10" 187-Pounds, and as a Sophomore, has plenty of room to grow. He attacked the ground with every carry, and showed the ability to make quick cuts upfield. In every aspect of the showcase, Bordeaux dominated, and it is scary to see he is just a backup at the moment, but watch out for him, I expect a huge explosion this season from the Friars's RB.
