PRZ Film Study- Senior Standouts

Seniors that finished up their snaps at the high school level and had impressive tape that programs should take a deeper dive into. These players have the talent and skill set to help out teams at the next level if put in the proper position. Take a look!    Ja'meer Walter is a WR/DB who has played only two games this season due to a meniscus injury. In those two games, he operated at a smooth level when playing WR. Getting into open space with good timing for his QB was shown at length. Continuing, the ability to track the ball away from his body and catch it with his bare hands continued into his routes. In effect, at the CB position, Walter displayed solid quickness reacting in the slot. Attacking opponents and on-the-ball mid-passes were put on tape. This is a player that can play deep quarters but also come downhill and tackle through the hole. Making leaping INTs was no stranger, as Brandon ended the season with three. Furthermore, physicality is evident as a reliable tackler, wrapping up aggressively and finishing with 40 total tackles. In detail, he reads offensive concepts fast and will strike on them. Playing the opposition in man coverage in different positions, even down in the box, was on display.      Wrapping up his senior season at Webster-Thomas ended in another bright season from the MLB and FB positions. In contrast, [player_tooltip player_id='1344768' first='Tyler' last='Estelle'] had 63 tackles and 2 TDs. Further, he was the team MVP on defense and an NFF Scholar-Athlete. Shooting the gaps and making TFLs was a big point of emphasis in his film. In particular, shedding off of the initial block and then making said tackle explode. Playing with leverage, playing sideline-to-sideline, being quick in coverage, and showing flexibility around the LOS were elite points. On offense, he is a reliable lead blocker at fullback and shows added value through his versatility in the passing game.      Evan Adams finished off his senior season at the LT position, consistently imposing through defenders at the LOS. Nevertheless, his pure size and physicality to blow his opponent backwards in the run game showed. In essence, Adams' raw strength and body control allow him to generate movement as an in-line blocker, creating push at the POA. Adams was a steady force that withstands power rushes with his strong frame in pass protection. Spinella threw for 1,586 yards, had 20 passing TDs, and had 1 rushing TD. In like manner, he is primarily a pocket passer that likes to work the field with his eyes. Sound passing mechanics within his game, where he was able to fool DBs with pump fakes. Additionally, placing the football into difficult windows, including accurate back-shoulder throws. A presentable arm strength to hit 30-40 go balls was on display. Furthermore, communication pre-snap with his receivers was seen, which resulted in positive net plays.
