With snow prepared to roll into the Hudson Valley, Athletes from across the North East packed into Hudson Sports Complex to compete, and showcase their skills at the Prep Redzone NY Stock Up Showcase. This was our first edition of the Showcase, which had its own event, after pairing with NJ for multiple years. With 16 Quarterbacks in attendance in Warwick, we take a look at some notes I wrote down for each QB during the showcase. For combine numbers, I will use the best attempt from each drill.

Coan was the youngest QB in attendance, but he held his own throughout the day, and showed the future of Long Island Football is in his hands. His 5.10 40-Time, ranked in the middle of the pack for QB's, and his L-Drill, and Pro Shuttle were in the Top Five for the position. His Broad Jump was below average, but still solid for the young QB. Coan held his own amongst some solid competition, and made multiple nice throws throughout the day. His 1v1 Drills showed promise, and his accuracy was good. He is still young, and has tons of time to grow and learn. Coan can improve in every aspect of his game, and with a football background, I believe he will.

Thompson was also in attendance for our Showcase in NJ, and impressed. He backed up his NJ Performance with a good performance in NY. Like NJ, his combine numbers were middle of the pack for QB's, and as a Freshman, he showed good promise. He displayed a solid build as a 2029 measuring in at 5'10" 151-Pounds. Moving to 1v1 Drills, and QB Drills, he showcased a good arm, with the ability to hit throws down the field. His over the shoulder ball placement was excellent, and he put a nice touch on the ball in multiple throws. He has a smooth release, and solid footwork. Filling into his body, and adding more velocity, can see offers role in for Thompson.

Wallace, was another young gunslinger in attendance in Warwick. The Future Green Knight Signal Caller, was one of the top youth prospects from NY, and took his talents to the Super Conference to play at St.Joseph Reigonal. His combine numbers, were middle of the pack, and in the bottom half of the QB's, but he made up for it throwing the ball. Wallace has a nice release, that can benefit from more velocity on his throws. His touch is nice, and he put the ball into tight windows, and in positions for his WR's to catch throughout the day. He has solid footwork, that can always be improved. Overall a solid day from the 2029 QB, who has a bright future leading SJR.

Feuerstein, is the next man up at QB, for Pelham, and we were able to get an early look at him during the showcase. Measuring in at 5'9" 150-Pounds, he should look to fill out his build, as he displays an undersized frame. Feuerstein, had a solid day throwing the ball, but did have issues with accuracy. He hit some nice throws throughout the showcase, and I like the velocity and touch he puts on the ball. He is a young QB hailing from the 2028 class, and he has some work to do at the QB Position. He should work on his accuracy, and strength the most, with a touch on his mechanics, as they might be affecting his accuracy. I like what I see from him, and some offseason work, can lead to a huge season from the Pelham QB.
