With snow prepared to roll into the Hudson Valley, Athletes from across the North East packed into Hudson Sports Complex to compete, and showcase their skills at the Prep Redzone NY Stock Up Showcase. This was our first edition of the Showcase, which had its own event, after pairing with NJ for multiple years. With 17 Lineman in attendance in Warwick, we take a look at some notes I wrote down for each Lineman during the showcase. For combine numbers, I will use the best attempt from each drill.

Webster was on the smaller side for a a Lineman. He measured in at 5'9" 200-Pounds. I want to see him gain some good weight to help fill out his frame, and with him being only a Sophomore, he is on the right track to his ideal size. He was solid for a young Lineman in combine drills, and displayed a high motor with extreme determination throughout the day. There were some massive lineman in Warwick, and in 1v1 drills, and Indy's he held his own. He attacked each rep, and fought against every opposing player no matter their size. He kept his hands inside the pads, and displayed some amazing technique throughout the afternoon. His rep losses came solely due to size from other lineman.

Garzon was another scrappy young lineman in Warwick. The FDR prospect, measured in at 5'8" 217-Pounds, showcasing a solid build for a 2028 Lineman. Garzon has time to fill out his build, and he is in a good spot, but should still look to gain some good weight to fill out his frame. Early on Garzon made some mistakes, whether it was technique or footwork. As each rep ended, and the notes from coaches came in, he improved slightly. He played through every whistle, and I noticed as the day progressed his hand placement and technique through reps improved tremendously. Garzon has an impressive day, and has a bright future ahead of him.

McCourt was listed as an OL, but played mostly defensive reps throughout the showcase. Based on this, I think he has the versatility to play on both sides of the ball, but I still would prefer him on the Offensive Side. His measurements, were not recorded by our event ops team. McCourt had a few solid reps, but his back foot was something to note, as based on his angles, gave him a slower get off the line, which led to him losing reps. McCourt was a solid lineman in Warwick, and has a few things he can work on as he progresses through High School.

Stiers was a young impressive 2028 Prospect in Warwick. The St. Joseph Regional OL, measured in at 6'4" 252-Pounds, showcasing an excellent build, with room to work as he's progresses through High School. He was an impressive lineman, as he displayed a unique technique of forcing Defenders around and out of the play. This allowed him to win reps early on, but once DL's attacked his inside his footwork stopped him and he lost some reps. This is all a technique fix that is simple and easy to learn. His hand placement stood out as well, as he managed to get his hands inside the shoulders as well picking up good reps. Stiers will be a solid prospect, and has room to grow.
