Their top running back, [player_tooltip player_id='1075660' first='Connor' last='Sams'] (Air Force commit) benefited immensely, accounting for 2,193 of those yards. This unit was equally effective in pass protection, keeping two quarterbacks, ([player_tooltip player_id='1075673' first='Chase' last='Grow'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1906391' first='Tillman' last='Melsheimer']), upright to throw for over 2,000 yards. Simultaneously, they created significant rushing yardage, allowing the team to accumulate 1,761 rushing yards and 24 rushing touchdowns.
