Northern Stars: Five 2027 Northeast Kansas Prospects

Bayer wreaked havoc like a wild mustang trying to be broke. The Spring Hill defensive lineman posted amazing totals of 14 quarterback sacks and 27 tackles for loss. He finished his senior season with 69 total tackles in 10 games played for the Broncos. Jacob is ranked No. 15 overall by Prep Redzone Kansas. He caught 37 balls for 609 yards. He was on the receiving end of eight touchdowns for Blue Valley in nine games. Like his brother, he also caught eight touchdowns for the Tigers in nine games. He almost doubled his brother's number of receptions, catching 67 balls for Blue Valley. He is more of a possession receiver, finishing with 577 receiving yards. He averaged 9.5 yards per catch, while Jacob averaged 16.5 yards per grab. He kept the pedal to the metal all season long, gaining 1,197 yards rushing in 10 games played. He scored 21 rushing touchdowns for the Pirates and caught two balls for touchdowns. He finished the season with 16 receptions for 237 yards. He racked up 1,049 yards and 15 touchdowns during his senior season. This was after a sophomore season with 13 rushing touchdowns and 1,092 yards rushing.
