With our region's first significant snowfall imminent and looming, I was back on the grind. On Saturday, December 13, 2025 Prep Redzone was boots-on-the-ground in Warwick, New York as we hosted our latest rendition of the Stock Up Showcase. Below are my notes from the position group referenced in this article's title.

It is no coincidence that prospects smaller in stature move the quickest. This was indeed the case for [player_tooltip player_id='1513195' first='Jair' last='Rashid']. Rashid, a slight 5'6" and 128lb rising junior, did his best impersonation of Edward Scissorhands the way he worked in indy. For my money, there was no one prospect that could cut a rug as sharp, on a dime as Rashid. This led to him creating natural separation and space when he ran his routes... On the contrary, 5'5" 142lb rising senior [player_tooltip player_id='1627389' first='Ryheem' last='Tinsley Jr'] has an opportunity to improve his footwork. I thought that his feet were a bit sloppy when he came to break off from the stem of his route. Sinking his hips and over compensating by taking shorter, choppier steps ought to clean this up.

As if he was playing basketball, [player_tooltip player_id='2076944' first='J'Shon' last='Goolsby'] ran routes like his name was "Skip to my Lou." Goolsby was exceptional at hitting fakes throughout his route. Aside from snapping his hips, Goolsby was also equipped with head/shoulder fakes that routinely allowed him to get open... The class of 2028 also featured [player_tooltip player_id='1513392' first='Quazire' last='Hawkins'], a 5'10" receiver. Hawkins did a great job of using his extension to maximize his catch radius, hauling a few passes I did not necessarily think he would. Hawkins was also apt at running the whip route.

[player_tooltip player_id='1891835' first='Jayden' last='Gonzalez'], one of the position group's elder statesmen graduating in 2027, was a prospect I found myself rooting for. Gonzalez was excellent at snapping his hips down on comeback routes; however, at a camp timing with quarterbacks is always questionable. Because the ball was not out immediately in anticipation of his stem break, Gonzalez was waiting for the ball to arrive to him. This allowed the defensive back to be draped all over him, eliminating that space Gonzalez worked hard to create. Returning and coming back to the ball will allow him to break big plays sooner and now put pressure of defenders to execute a tackle. Moreover, I noticed Gonzalez only ran short-to-intermediate routes, never opting to go deep.
