With our region's first significant snowfall imminent and looming, I was back on the grind. On Saturday, December 13, 2025 Prep Redzone was boots-on-the-ground in Warwick, New York as we hosted our latest rendition of the Stock Up Showcase. Below are my notes from the position group referenced in this article's title.

I think I will start today's coverage in descending order of graduation year. A 2028 prospect that was of note was [player_tooltip player_id='2076822' first='Jason' last='Sica']. Sica looked well built at 6'0" and a cheeseburger under 200lbs. I thought that he had an exceptional start/get off, as I routinely watched him explode forward and threaten the edge. Perhaps the single-most impressive pass rush move of the day that I saw was Sica get home on a ghost rip. Threatening with the long arm, he then dipped low and ripped high, under an upright offensive lineman.

The class of 2027 featured [player_tooltip player_id='2078225' first='Collin' last='Bishopp']. Bishopp, at 6'1" and 225lbs, is a bit of a 'tweer - and I think he knows this. Bishopp took reps both on the outside and along the interior, leveraging feedback received from his position coach to work and get better with each and every rep he took. At times I thought that Bishopp was either a bit slow or hesitant to attack. Knowing that these reps were all pass rushing reps, I would implore him to abide by the age-old adage to "pass rush with a plan."

Closing out is the "old man" of the group, 2026 graduate [player_tooltip player_id='2079028' first='Leiam' last='Chester']. An interior rusher, Chester showed his experience in a variety of ways through his performance. To start, Chester understands that when an interior lineman slide steps to you, you should immediately cross face. Which he did with a swim. Playing with a motor, I thought that Chester stacked his moves well and always had something to throw at his opponent. A few times I saw him recognize a leaning defender, as he ensuingly snatched them to the ground, while also having the presence of mind to spin back to an quarterback who would have stepped up in the pocket once his rush reached the same level as him.
