New 2029 Prospects on the Radar From Offseason Workouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2025 high school football season is now over with state champions crowned and the 'offseason' is now upon us. While fans and coaches might be focused on what their respective teams will look like next season, the players are putting in the work as training groups and 7-on-7 workouts begin to happen across the state of Tennessee.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>These type of workouts always allows a strong look for good talent against other good talent, and that usually means that you will walk away from these events with a new name or two on your radar, especially with younger prospects.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With that being said, here are four 2029 prospects that have now popped onto my radar after getting to see them perform in a controlled setting for the first time in their young high school football careers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- player I knew some people were excited about, but I was not able to see him perform until the DGA Flight Squad 7v7 tryout event, and he impressed with his flashes of potential.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He has solid size for a slot receiver at his age and has the acceleration and deceleration skills to be a highly effective player from the inside.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He is still rounding out his game but the baseline tools are certainly there to be a very strong slot option for the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The next step for him will be to put those flashes into a consistent level of playmaking on the field and with Lipscomb Academy graduating their top receiving targets, he should have an Flight Squad 7v7 tryouts was linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1719716' first='Jayden' last='Hunter'].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Antioch prospect is a very exciting player with great size, athleticism and movement skills.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While being able to move freely around the middle of the defense, he has a very strong frame while standing around 6'1-6'2.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Watching him in some 7v7 settings has me seriously looking forward to how those traits and abilities translate talent in the mid-state and one of my primary questions was who this prospect was that turned out to be [player_tooltip player_id='1633823' first='Jamison' last='Beshearse'].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He has solid size, especially for his age, and consistently created separation throughout the afternoon with his ability to change direction and accelerate vertically.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The next step for him includes improving his ability to sink his hips and flow into that change of direction.
