NEW 2027 RANKINGS: How Does the Quarterback Class Look?

<p><strong>POST-SEASON UPDATE:</strong> We have officially released a new set of rankings for the class of 2027 in Arkansas. In this article, we will showcase the 2027 quarterbacks with analysis. Over the next month, I will break down these rankings by position within each class, as well as other relevant segments. For the quarterbacks, I will provide you with evaluations of some of the top prospects and the players flying under the radar:</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1244451' first='Hank' last='Hendrix'] stays at the number one spot after his first full season with Fayetteville. He's a true pro-style quarterback with good arm strength and velocity through the hips. Hendrix displays good mechanics and footwork within the pocket, where he showcases his synergy with his feet and release point. He demonstrates good ball placement at all levels of the field with the anticipation needed off-breaks and over the middle. The rising quarterback can quickly progress through his reads, attacking both zone and man coverage efficiently. With him taking over for Archer, he'll have a lot of eyes on him. As mentioned before, Coatney possesses a strong arm, good mobility in the pocket, and post-snap awareness to evade incoming pressure. He showcases the ability to step up and slide in and out of the pocket with good footwork. He consistently steps into his throws, generating torque with his hips. Coatney can adjust his release point. He demonstrates good ball placement at all levels. He delivers the football with a good touch to layer it over second-level defenders.
