In the passing game, Drakeford consistently attacked defenses down the seams, showing a strong feel for route timing and the ability to layer throws over defenders' heads for explosive gains. He demonstrated poise and vision when working the middle of the field, punishing coverage lapses with well-placed passes.

As a runner, Drakeford was equally effective on designed quarterback runs, displaying patience behind his blocks before accelerating through creases and gashing defenses for chunk yardage. His ability to manage the run game added another dimension to Quince Orchard's offense and kept defenses off balance throughout the season.

Drakeford finished the year with over 1,000 passing yards and capped his breakout campaign by leading Quince Orchard to a Maryland state championship. With a winning pedigree and a skill set that translates to the next level, he is a quarterback prospect college programs should be taking a close look at as his recruitment continues to develop.

https://twitter.com/WillDrakeford1/status/2003637678273876051

Ben Raines is coming off a monster season at South River, one that vaulted both him and the program into the statewide spotlight. The junior quarterback led South River to its longest playoff run in 30 years while torching defenses for more than 3,000 passing yards and an eye-popping 48 touchdowns.

Raines' poise, arm talent, and ability to extend plays have kept him firmly at the top of the Maryland 2026 quarterback rankings, a spot he has held for much of the cycle. His breakout campaign recently translated to his first collegiate opportunity, earning an offer from RPI (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute).

As the offseason evaluation period continues, expect Raines' recruitment to gain additional momentum. The growing interest reflects what shows up consistently on film: a quarterback who is equally dangerous operating from the pocket or creating when the play breaks down.

Pasik throws with impressive touch and composure, delivering accurate passes under pressure while remaining efficient from a clean pocket. He shows a strong understanding of timing and ball placement, allowing receivers to stay in stride and finish plays even when the pocket collapses. When under pressure, Pasik can turn into a legitimate weapon with his legs. He runs with toughness and intent, willing to lower his shoulder and initiate contact rather than shy away, while also possessing the speed to turn scrambles into chunk gains.

With a well-rounded skill set and a physical edge to his game, Pasik continues to establish himself as a quarterback who can stress defenses in multiple ways.
