<p>As we take a look ahead at the New Year and work hard for the next season, <strong><em>Prep Redzone Florida </em></strong>continues to shine a spotlight on some of the talent that makes us so special with college coaches and fans across the country, who are searching for the top players.</p>

<p><strong>2027 – Cooper Buck, LB, 6'1, 200, Sarasota – 4.7 GPA. Weightlifting. </strong>Here is one of the most versatile and complete Student/Athletes, who not only got it done on the football field, but also showcased his talents in the classroom as well as part of Student Government, showcasing his future skills away from sports. On the football field, he finished with 90 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, two interceptions and even scored one touchdown.</p>

<p><strong>2026 – Bert Castillo, LB/RB/LS, 5'6, 195, Mount Dora Christian – 3.39 GPA. Track & Field. </strong>This Keiser University commitment had a huge senior season on the field with 124 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, an amazing 12 forced fumbles (four in one game), two sacks and one punt block. Showed his versatility with three rushing touchdowns on offense.</p>

<p><strong>2028 – Zaylen Chapple, DB/WR/Athlete, 6'0, 170, Cocoa – 3.7 GPA. </strong>Making the switch to running back in the fourth week, this is a sophomore who stepped up in a major way for the Tigers with 556 all-purpose yards that included 12 receptions, seven touchdowns and was responsible for 26 first downs! This is a prospect to keep an eye on during this off-season.</p>

<p><strong>2027 – [player_tooltip player_id='2043491' first='Cole' last='Chong-You'], Edge/Athlete/LB/TE, 6'0, 213, Alachua Santa Fe – 4.2 GPA. </strong>Talk about an impact performer, his junior season was indeed something special with 10 sacks, 32 tackles, four forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, two pass deflections and a head-turning 17 QB hits/hurries.</p>

<p><strong>2027 – [player_tooltip player_id='1909446' first='Davin' last='Davidson'], QB, 6'6, 215, Sarasota Cardinal Mooney – 3.6 GPA. Baseball Prospect. </strong>When the season came to an end, there may not have been a player in the junior class that was more talked about. Leading the Cougars to their second state title in three years, his 2,392 total yards and 26 total touchdowns were among the best in Florida. He completed an impressive 64.7 percent of his passes and had a 127 Quarterback Rating!</p>

<p><strong>2027 – Liam Miller, K/P, 5'10, 185, Merritt Island. Baseball Prospect. </strong>This impressive athlete did his part to help the Mustangs reach the post season once again. His 9 of 14 field goals (3/5 40+) and 42 of 43 on extra points was among the best in the region. He also had 18 touchbacks on kickoffs and average 35.6 yards per punt.</p>

<p><strong>2027 – Lee Prince Jr., RB, 5'10, 175, Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna. Track & Field. </strong>While much of the attention was on University of Texas signee [player_tooltip player_id='1247419' first='Derrek' last='Cooper'], here is a gifted player that showcased his speed, athleticism and talent. His 770 yards (12.5 yards per carry) helped to get the Lions to their record 10<sup>th</sup> straight state championship game. He also scored nine times against some top-flight competition. Will be one of elite backs for 2026!</p>

<p><strong>2028 – [player_tooltip player_id='1601258' first='Aizion' last='Sandy'], QB, 6'0, 160, Cocoa Space Coast – 3.8 GPA. </strong>In the state of Florida, there is so much talent and impressive prospects that being overlooked is unfortunately the norm. But when you put up numbers like 124.9 Quarterback Rating by going 167 of 259 for 2,300 passing yards and 32 touchdowns, it is tough to hide. This is one of the future stars for a program that won a state title and continues to churn out talent with outstanding coaching.</p>

<p><strong>2026 – Jack Scott, LB/Edge, 6'0, 218, Fort Lauderdale Westminster Academy. </strong>This four-year varsity performer capped off quite a high school career on and off the playing field – where his work in the classroom (4.43 GPA. 1280 SAT) turned heads and opened doors to the next level. As a two-year team captain, this was a season where he put together some tremendous statistics like 91 Tackles (75 solo), 17 tackles for loss and three sacks. His leadership was also something that the coaching staff talked about as he led the team into the post-season once again.</p>

<p><strong>2027 – [player_tooltip player_id='1707671' first='Jonathan' last='Sweat'], DE, 6'2, 200, Perry Taylor County – 3.8 GPA. </strong>As his junior year came to an end, this is one of those lead by example student/athletes that continued to get plenty of attention for his work in the classroom as well as what he did on the football field. Finishing with 54 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, six sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery made him one of the most valuable players on a talented team.</p>
