[player_tooltip player_id='1172366' first='Tyrone' last='Jennings'] | DL | Irmo

Jennings was a part of a ferocious Yellow Jackets' defensive line that was tough to block at the point of attack. He was an enforcer from the tackle position as he could defeat one-on-one blocks to get into the backfield and affect the passer. Even if he didn't get home for the sack, opposing quarterbacks knew that he was coming and that they needed to get rid of the ball. He can also be effective in stopping the run, as he's tough to run inside against. Once he gets his hands on the ball carrier, it's normally a tackle for loss.

[player_tooltip player_id='1271263' first='KJ' last='Burg'] | LB | South Pointe

Burg had a stellar junior campaign for the Stallions in their run to the state championship. He was all over the field from his linebacker position, no matter if it was in the box and stopping the run with big hits or playing out in coverage. He can read and sense what's coming from an opposing offense and then react to stop the gain on the play or disrupt the entire play with a knockdown. He hustles to the ball and has a motor that is running. One other part of his game that was impressive was his special teams play, where he was able to make his presence felt and set up his defense well.

[player_tooltip player_id='779428' first='Tajeh' last='Watson-Martin'] | ATH | Belton-Honea Path

Martin is a tall, lanky receiver who is a home run threat with the ball in his hands. He runs excellent routes at full speed and knows how to beat one-on-one man coverage, as we saw in going back in watching his film from the 2025 season. He can take a slant and go 80 yards to the house because he gets a good inside release against the corner that's covering him and then he has the speed to do the rest. Once he gets past the safety, nine times out of 10 in 2025, it was a touchdown. He was the Bears' leading receiver with 51 receptions for 1101 yards and 11 touchdowns. And if that isn't enough, he could flip over on defense as he snagged 4 interceptions in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='1822457' first='Brian' last='McMillan'] | ATH | Bamberg-Ehrhardt

McMillan had a special season for the Red Raiders, as he helped them to their first state championship since 1990. He finished the year with 4,095 yards passing and 47 touchdowns through the air, while rushing for 902 yards and 23 scores for a grand total of 4,997 yards and 70 touchdowns. He has a great arm to be able to sling it and get it to his receiver on the deep ball and he puts it in only an area where his receivers can go up and make catches. He has good size to be able to see the entire field as well. He can also flip over on defense and help out in run support. We expect him to be one of the top guys returning in the state in 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='756223' first='Nate' last='Carson'] | OL | Irmo

Carson is tough and physical from his left tackle spot. He has a good first step that allows him to get his hands on opposing defensive linemen and not allow them to get penetration into the backfield to get pressure on the quarterback or into the backfield against the running back. He takes the fight to the opposing linemen well, and it's fun to watch against some of the best that the Midlands have to offer. He can get up to the second level and help out in run blocking as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1151291' first='Brody' last='Lorenzo'] | OL | Dutch Fork

Lorenzo (pictured) attacks the line of scrimmage and looks to bring the fight to opposing defensive linemen with his size and speed. He's another guy that has a great first step when the ball is snapped and he can move well, especially when it comes to run blocking. There were several times on his film where he pulled block to get to the first threat and he came with a certain type of aggressiveness that you love to see from his position.

[player_tooltip player_id='1094944' first='Aiden' last='Manavian'] | QB | Oceanside Collegiate

Manavian capped off his junior season with back-to-back state title for the Landsharks. And he lit up the scoreboard with his arm. He can throw it short or long and he has great pocket presence to be able to see the field, diagnose the coverage and get the ball to his receivers. He puts it in a spot where only his receiver can get it, and some of it was against tight zone coverages where the windows was small and had to be put on a line. His receivers could high point the ball, and you can tell he's on the same page with them. They're going to catch it, and he's going to get it to them. He threw for 4,028 yards and 41 touchdowns in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='378969' first='Jaiden' last='Kelly-Murray'] | WR | Summerville

Murray is a speedster on the outside at receiver. He runs his routes at full speed and knows how to get open. Once he “stacks” the wide receiver in man coverage, more times than not it was a touchdown in 2025 or a big play that set up the Green Wave offense in prime position. He can high point the ball and he catches everything that comes his way, even the contested 50-50 balls. He had 64 catches for 957 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='874321' first='Raphael' last='Puiu'] | WR | James Island

Puiu got the start as a young sophomore, and he made the most of his opportunity. Whether it was catching a 50-50 ball or taking a screen to the house, Puiu was impressive in making the catch and making good north south progress to help keep the offense on schedule with first downs or touchdowns. He was also impactful in the special teams game as he took a few back to the house. We'll be interested to watch his development as he heads into his junior season after finishing 2025 with 55 receptions for 1409 yards and 19 touchdowns.
