Take a look at which athletes are staying home with a quick recap of the early signing day:

Arizona State

Sinei Tengei, DL, Westwood

Tengei is a huge in-state land by ASU, as they add a nasty player with a mean streak on their defensive front. Tengei made it official to head a few miles west of West of Westwood and chose ASU over Iowa State, BYU, Nevada, Boise State, Utah State, and Northern Arizona.

[player_tooltip player_id='739441' first='Zeth' last='Thues'], DB, Liberty

Thues has been a well talked about kid across AZ for years now, and chooses to stay home and play for ASU. Thues had himself a very impressive senior season by helping Liberty reach the semis, totaling 4 INT's, 49 tackles, 8.5 TFL's and even 2 sacks.

Arizona

[player_tooltip player_id='212377' first='Keytrin' last='Harris'], DL, Arizona Compass Prep

A big time grab for the Wildcats as they land an absolute monster to their defensive line room with Harris. Harris played a major role in the dominance of that AZ Compass defense and is one of many that helped put AZ Compass football on the map, and chooses to stay in state while holding 19 total offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369439' first='Malachi' last='Joyner'], OL, Williams Field

The 6'4" 280lb defensive lineman will head down to Tucson after being a staple on that Williams Field OL over the years. Joyner chooses UofA over 14 other offers and can possibly provide an early spark.

Northern Arizona

[player_tooltip player_id='401159' first='Donivan' last='Dixon'], QB, Cactus Shadows

This might be the biggest steal in AZHSFB, as I've raved about Dixon for a few years. A true dual-threat with the ability to change the game with his legs or arm. A huge land for the Jacks as they snag a prospect with big play potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='1177552' first='Khalil' last='Bender'], WR, ALA-Queen Creek

Another big time in-state land, as Bender proved to be one of the most explosive receivers in the state the past few years. He dominated at the 5A level when he was at McClintock, and translated that to 6A during his season at ALA-QC frequently showing his top end speed and craftiness, and looks to pair well with Dixon up in Flag.

[player_tooltip player_id='1682144' first='Xavion' last='Brazil'], DB, Hamilton

The speedy DB will head to NAU, as they get a hungry kid with a chip on his shoulder. Brazil chooses NAU over Montana State and Black Hills State.

[player_tooltip player_id='1177573' first='Bryce' last='Greer'], OL, Casteel

The 6A state champ is a great addition to that NAU offensive line, as he honors his commitment from July by officially putting pen to paper with the Jacks.

[player_tooltip player_id='992791' first='Cannon' last='Garday'], LB, Liberty

A stout player on an always tough Liberty defense inks his LOI and will provide a boost to that NAU LB group. Garday choose the Lumberjacks over offers from Army, New Mexico State, Eastern Washington, and Fordham.

Francisco Orduno Jr., Kicker, Mountain Pointe

Arizona's kicker of the year winner makes it official to Northern Arizona, as Orduno accounted for 75 points as a senior and even drilled a 60 yarder as junior back in 2024.
