CFI Carolinas Winter Showcase Top Linebackers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Charlotte Football Insiders (CFI) Winter Showcase hosted over 170 players from the Carolinas and beyond this past Saturday at Rocky River High School. Three players from the showcase received offers so far, and a lot of great talent was on hand at all positions in attendance. We'll start looking at some of that talent in a series of articles analyzing these players. The thing I loved most about Tyson is his decisiveness - that was something that I wanted to see in his development, and after seeing him live late in the regular season, it's there now. As players gain more experience and trust their eyes, this usually comes along with it at the linebacker spot. I liked him a lot in the individual period, where he took coaching well and did an excellent job of executing fundamentals. Miles is listed as an outside linebacker, but he flew around in the agility circuit and individual period like a defensive back. Excellent athletic ability really impressed a number of people in attendance. His highlight film shows a relentless effort to get to the football and a very good tackler in space. His size is physically imposing, and he can play a variety of roles - inside linebacker, outside linebacker, or even on the edge as a pass rusher. That versatility is impressive on his highlight film, and he showed at this showcase he could be effective in man coverage against running backs, so that checked all the boxes for me.
