We were able to see some exciting players in this class this season. There were also a couple of these guys who showed up to our Prep Redzone Combine in Jackson, MS.

[player_tooltip player_id='1171350' first='Lacorien' last='Turnipseed']

Turnipseed is a player who plays the game with a lot of heart. He loves to come up and attack the football. He is a 5-foot-9, 150-pound player from Louisville who we think is going to be a safety on the next level. Turnipseed knows how to come up and be aggressive on the run. We are thinking that he is going to need to get those feet quicker and start to understand coverages more. He is one of the best players in the class for this state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1022134' first='Trevion' last='Glenn']

Glenn is a player who we saw playing on the offensive line a lot this past season to help his team. Glenn is a kid from Louisville High Schol who we think is going to be an edge player on the next level. When he came to our Prep Redzone Combine in Jackson, MS, he won the DL MVP. This kid is strong and has those long arms that he has been learning how to use on the defensive side of the football. Glenn is able to get quick and thin when it is time to get around an offensive tackle. He is a kid to know.

[player_tooltip player_id='1602051' first='Gavin' last='Shannon']

Shannon is a kid from Shannon who we got our eyes on for the first time we he contributed to his team as a freshman. He does a good job of holding things down in the trenches for their defense. He is able to be a plug when offenses are running the football. His coaches also know that they can trust him to be one of the vocal leaders on their defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1601246' first='Tyran' last='Cotton']

Cotton is one of the most impressive defensive backs in the state for this class. He plays with a lot of aggression when he is in bump and run coverage. You are not going to see him losing a lot of battles on the islands. Cotton has some long arms that get active when the football is in the air. He has quick feet and hips that move fluently. He is another one of those guys we would love to see at a combine.
