2027 Watch List to Ranked: OL

This is an incredibly deep class, and there's a mountain of potential prospects on our list. In fact, I probably ranked him too low during this update. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Henry has ideal size for a college guard or tackle. 6'4" - 6'5", 280lbs, and uses his size to his advantage. Henry is able to move his feet faster than most offensive linemen his size, and it helps him tremendously against the faster DE's he faced this season. Additionally, Henry does a good job staying square, hands up, and ready to strike. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>His recent MVP at the Legacy Winter Showcase helps, too. In time, I may come to regret this ranking, as some traits indicate he's better than #171. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I had the opportunity to watch Brian against Detroit Catholic Central back in September. Considering the competition he was up against, I thought he did an excellent job. Playing guard, Brian was extremely physical and was quick to get to his spots. Additionally, he looked a tad taller than 6'3". He's a tall O-lineman with great effort, good agility, and promising bend.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700"> I got a decent look at him in his game against Mt. Pleasant, and I'm highly confident he'll be able to fill the shoes of OL1 next season. I'm not sure exactly how tall Ryan is, and he's still a bit raw with the fundamentals. Though he has the basics down. A few great in-person showings at camps, and he could he a college prospect this offseason. After a great season with East Lansing, he's back on the rankings. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I remember seeing Vincent a few offseasons ago. He was a little undersized and an underclassman at the time. Though he gave amazing effort, and won reps against seniors much bigger than him. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fast forward a few years, and Vincent is a productive two-way player for East Lansing. Jake is a tall, big offensive tackle with decent agility and flashes of power on tape. His tape showcases consistent effort through the whistle. In other words, he finishes his blocks, which is another extreme bright spot. Jake does need to improve regarding footwork, in addition to other fundamentals. Though, considering his size and tape, I'd be shocked if he didn't find luck in the recruiting space this offseason. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
