Each week, we'll be highlighting a team from each classification that got a big win, reached a milestone, or made history with their victory. Game balls are a special reward handed out after games to recognize outstanding play on the field, and we want to acknowledge teams each week that make a statement. Here are our team game balls for week ten of the season!
CLASS AAAA
BUCKHANNON-UPSHUR BUCCANEERS
Defeated Preston 60-57 in an offensive thriller
In a wild Big 10 Conference shootout, Buckhannon-Upshur edged Preston 60-57 in a game filled with offensive fireworks and dramatic moments to earn PRZ WV Class AAAA Team of the Week honors. Both teams entered at 1-7, but their offenses came alive under the Friday night lights. Preston quarterback

CHAPMANVILLE TIGERS
Defeated previously unbeaten AA Mingo Central 46-0
Chapmanville kept its undefeated season alive in impressive fashion, earning our PRZ WV Class AAA Team of the Week honors with a 46-0 shutout over AA Mingo Central. The Tigers dominated on both sides of the ball, with their defense setting the tone by forcing two interceptions and holding the Miners scoreless. Sophomore quarterback

The victory pushed Chapmanville to 9-0 and handed Mingo Central its first loss, proving the Tigers are firing on all cylinders as they head toward the postseason.

BUFFALO BISON
Defeated Meadow Bridge 64-52 for their best season since 2016
The Buffalo Bison kept their hot streak rolling and earned our PRZ WV Class AA Team of the Week honors with a hard-fought 64-52 win over Meadow Bridge. After falling to the Wildcats in their last meeting, Buffalo turned the tables with a dominant offensive showing to secure its seventh straight victory. The win improved the Bison to 7-2 and continued what's shaping up to be their best season since 2016.
Buffalo's relentless effort and ability to finish strong against a tough Meadow Bridge team highlight just how much confidence and momentum this squad has built heading into the final stretch of the season.
CLASS A:
MAN HILLBILLIES
Defeated #3 Tug Valley 28-6
The Man Hillbillies earned our PRZ WV Class A Team of the Week honors after an impressive 28-6 win over rival Tug Valley on Halloween Friday night. Facing one of the top-ranked Class A teams in the state, Man rose to the occasion on senior night, powered by a dominant performance from running back Kaleb Mullins Kaleb Mullins 6'0" | 210 lbs | EDGE/LB Man | 2026 State WV , who rushed for 193 yards and four touchdowns. The Hillbillies' defense held strong, limiting a short-handed Tug Valley offense missing several starters to just 129 total yards while forcing the Panthers to fight for every gain.
The win was not only a statement of Man's toughness and determination but also a crucial boost to their playoff hopes, pushing them closer to breaking into the Class A postseason picture.
