Meyer is the leading passer in all of 5A in general, throwing for over 3,400 yards and 39 TD's this season with just 5 INT's. No surprise here, as I've been raving about Meyer for over a year now as all the kid continues to do is light up defenses. He's got momentum rolling into this week as well, as he's fresh off a 423 yard 4 TD performance from a week ago. Cool, composed gunslinger with the ability to hit all 3 levels of throws and make those off-platform throws as well.

Abraham has emerged as one of AZ's top Backs, and still has 2 years left to continue to turn heads and rise his stock. He's rushed for 1,537 yards and 30 TD's, showcasing excellent balance, physicality, vision, and ball security with 0 fumbles. Abraham is averaging just over 139 yards per game and is truly already a well polished RB- with the ability to bust loose for big plays and be a big play threat, but also serve as your workhorse type of Back. Very impressive player that runs with authority and holds loads of potential moving forward.

Roebuck is already filling some big shoes as he leads all playoff remaining receivers in yards and receptions with 76 for 945, and holds 7 TD's to go along with it. Speedy, big play receiver that can burn defenses in a variety of ways. Super explosive at the top of his route with the proven ability to take the top off a defense, but also possesses that burst and twitch to make opponents miss immediately after the catch and finish with a big play.

Landis enters the quarterfinals matchup against Desert View with 113 total tackles, leading within the remaining 5A teams, as he sits #8 in the state total. He'll get a big test this week going up against a highly touted Back like Abraham. He does a great job with play rec, frequently identifying those opening alleys immediately at the snap- then does a great job bursting through and delivering with a strong, low point of contact and explodes through hips to finish plays with a big hit.

Another Marana kid that is amongst the remaining leaders in the playoffs, as Elder has racked up 11.5 sacks on the year. Elder's first play of his film speaks for itself- flashing violent hands with good, strong center of gravity and excellent play strength at the point of attack. His bull rush is legit too, showing a stout and strong lower half with a powerful forward drive where he frequently disrupted plays in the backfield all year. Definitely a hidden gem that I think needs to be on your radar ASAP.

Grizzell not only leads the remaining playoff teams in picks, but he leads the whole state with 6 INT's on the year in 10 games played. He sizes up with a 6'2" 180lb frame and possesses good range and position IQ at FS for Canyon View. Disciplined eyes in zone coverage as he does a great job reading the QB while recognizing concepts- oftentimes baiting QB's into throws then closes with a nice break on the ball showing burst and that solid range. A very impressive kid in the CV secondary that has been drawing in multiple D2 offers.
