He brings some of the most fluid get off hands as a run stuffer the state of South Dakota has to offer. He also has gotten smoother in his junior season with his pursuit angles after getting off blocks as Rocky has tapped into his upside from a year ago. Another area that has grown from a year ago is his consistency in pass-protection and how well his hands have grown in thier alignment. The 5'10 210 pounder from Mobridge-Pollock, has the athleticism and durability you want to have in your backfield and is one of those running backs that will wear the defense down the more carries he gets for the Tigers. I have seen it at muliple camps last summer, that Mack does the small details the right way and with efficency. What pops out from the first look, is his agile first step which shows off the good instincts college coaches are looking for at the next-level. He also has grown in his junior season with higher violence with his punch as that first play on tape says it all, as Charlie gets his man downhill with great penetration at the point of attack. Speaking of downhll, you will want to watch his second play on tape as he barrels into the second level as a pull-blocker that you don't want to meet when he is on the move.
