The Macks passing attack had some success as well with star athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1238563' first='Cardel' last='Staples'] recording over 100 yards in the air. The turning points in the game were when junior DB Nasir Liggans registered two takeaways, returning 1 for a score. McKinley ran away with this one 36-14. Although the Spartans got the scoring off first with a punt return for a TD, Grand Island would go on putting up 28 unanswered points en route to a 28-7 victory. Bulldozing, two way stud [player_tooltip player_id='806966' first='Dominic' last='Nucci'] was a menace running for 90 yards and a score while registering 6 tackles and a sack as a LB. In the end, it was the #6 Flames that would win on the road 19-10. Williamsville East will head to Buffalo to play Health Sciences on Saturday 11/8 at 12pm.
