#4 Lackawanna @ #3 West Seneca East

West Seneca East came out looking promising as QB DJ Benker took the first play from scrimmage 61 yards into Lackawanna's 10 yard line. Benker would then score two plays later with a 2-point conversion from [player_tooltip player_id='1658230' first='Keyjuan' last='Williams'] to follow. From there, it was all Lackawanna as the Steelers would score 20 unanswered points to close out the half. QB Michael Moore would run in 2 himself then he threw another score to senior WR Orlando Taylor. The Trojans continued to struggle in the second half although they tried to battle back. QB Michael Moore (11/17 for 201 yard 3 TDs and 2 rushing scores) were too much to handle. Lackawanna defeated West Seneca East 44-22.

#4 Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton @ #2 Southwestern/Frewsburg

This game was a slugfest from the start. Each team would begin the game with a turnover, most notably, Chautauqua Lake's [player_tooltip player_id='807877' first='Carson' last='Fairbank'] with a 4th Down INT at their own 8. The Eagles would dominate in the total yards category (134-23) and 1st downs (10-1) over the Trojans but Southwestern's defense would stiffen only allowing 1 TD in the first half; a 2-yard run by [player_tooltip player_id='1811603' first='Thandon' last='Bensink']. At the start of the second half, each team exchanged three-and-outs but after that, Chautauqua Lake took over and controlled the ball. The Eagles rushing attack went for 210 yards and 3 TDs; from Bensink, [player_tooltip player_id='1087213' first='Tristen' last='Gibbs'] and Clayton Smith. Even though he did not score, there is a lot to be said about the game that Eagles QB [player_tooltip player_id='1344653' first='Brayden' last='Gibbs'] had. Gibbs completed 14 of 22 passes for 146 yards and was responsible for most of their 18 first downs, including back-to-back game changing completions of 46 & 26 yards. Chautauqua Lake reaches the Far West Regionals after beating Southwestern/Frewsburg 21-0.

#2 Wilson @ #1 Newfane

For the first 20 minutes, it was all Newfane. [player_tooltip player_id='1624567' first='Mac' last='Capen'], who has been a menace with his legs all year, used his arm to get the scoring going with a 59-yard strike to [player_tooltip player_id='1249378' first='Isaiah' last='Gerstung']. The Panthers then followed up with a 39-yard TD run by Camryn Stover. But Wilson responded by going 58 yards, predominantly on the legs of Nick Lemke that culminated in a 6-yard TD pass from Vic Cusatis to [player_tooltip player_id='1344751' first='Brock' last='Lepsch']. To start the second half, each team exchanged TDs as Capen ran in for a 1-yarder and Lemke, a breakout player from Wilson scored from 4 yards out. Wilson QB Cusatis would tie the game up at 20 with a 7-yard TD run in the 4th quarter. But Newfane would get the ball back and drive 57 yards that ended with a 5-yard TD run by [player_tooltip player_id='1624567' first='Mac' last='Capen'] that will send the Panthers to the Far West Regionals with a 28-20 victory.
