La Cueva drove down the field, helped immensely by a 40-yard run by RB [player_tooltip player_id='1629861' first='Vaughn' last='Saunders']. A 13-yard pass to [player_tooltip player_id='1686972' first='Chris' last='Lopez'] and an ill-timed face mask penalty on the Hawks moved the ball to the Centennial 14 with seconds remaining. Bears PK [player_tooltip player_id='1137412' first='Chance' last='Whitmire'] trotted out and calmly booted a 32-yard field goal as time expired to win it.
