<p><strong>Rankings will be updated in the coming weeks and here we take a look at a few of the underclassmen who could make a nice jump up the PRZ Rankings board. Athletes listed below typically won't be individuals already ranked at the top of the charts. </strong></p>

<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2054691' first='Zane' last='Carley'] 27' DL/OLB Tualatin </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>The 6-2 190-pound edge rusher had a phenomenal season being named a unanimous 1st team all TRL selection. Even more impressive was the fact that it was his first year on the D line. Carley finished with 32 tackles, 8 TFL's, 7 sacks, and 30 hurries. One of the better stat lines in Oregon. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1684534' first='Jettson' last='Gillam'] 27' DE/TE Mountain View</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Expect Gillam to be one of the most recruited athletes in the state of Oregon. His size and ability to play on either side of the ball at the highest level is a huge reason his stock is skyrocketing. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='937338' first='Cash' last='Wilks'] 27' LB Lake Oswego </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Look for Wilks to make a nice jump up the PRZ rankings board. As most know the 6-2 220-pound LB has D1 genes and is incredibly fluid for an athlete with his size. He was a 1st team all TRL pick. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='937177' first='Luke' last='Hanifan'] 27' OLB/DE Jesuit </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>As most know the Crusaders consistently produce talent who go on to do well collegiately. Hanifan could be another one of those guys as a 6-4 LB. Fellow backer and teammate Jack Teunge who is committed to Harvard, won Metro League Defensive POY honors. He has that type of potential. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1609761' first='Tyler' last='Holmes'] 28' LB West Linn </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Look for Holmes to continue to climb the PRZ rankings board as one of the top sophomores in Oregon. His upside is through the roof possessing legit size and speed. I see him as a future D1 kid. He was a 2nd team all TRL selection. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='937113' first='Shane' last='Peters'] 27' Safety West Linn </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Pound for pound Peters is one of the best players in Oregon, earning 1st team all TRL accolades at Safety. At 5-9 175 pounds he likely won't project to a high level collegiately, but I could see him being a 1st team all-state athlete on both sides of the football next season. He's that good. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1569381' first='Levi' last='Klostreich'] 27' DE Sherwood </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Klostreich had a breakout sophomore year and followed that up nicely being named a 1st team all-Pacific Conference selection on both sides of the football. He finished with 6 sacks and 8 TFL's. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='937036' first='Lincoln' last='Teeney'] 27' DB Silverton </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>The last name speaks for itself with Lincoln earning Defensive POY honors within the conference as a junior. In 6 games he had 4 TD's, 3 INT's, and 26 tackles, allowing only one catch over 5 yards. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2054683' first='Toren' last='Drucker'] 27' LB Mountainside </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Drucker had a breakout junior year finishing with 6.5 sacks and 23 tackles while also catching 19 balls for 254 yards and 2 TD's. He will project at LB and be one of the Metro's best next season. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1566150' first='Cohen' last='Trump'] 27' LB Westview </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Hands down one of the top players in the Metro League and likely a POY favorite next season defensively. Trump is already listed on the PRZ rankings board. From a projection standpoint it will come down to size as he has the ability to be a legit collegiate athlete. He earned all-conference honors on both sides (1st O, 2nd D) finishing with 90 tackles and 3 TFL's. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1878396' first='Aidan' last='Galusha'] 27' RB/DE Dallas </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>One of the most versatile athletes statewide. Galusha was named the D lineman of the year and also rushed for 452 yards and 10 TD's before coming up just short in the state quarterfinals.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1076647' first='Kade' last='Laraway'] 28' LB Mountainside </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Laraway is already ranked among Oregon's top 2028 athletes. He's undersized for the position at LB but one of the best dual threat athletes in the state. You will hear his name often over the next two years. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2054689' first='Nolan' last='Eilers'] 27' DB Jesuit </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>You have to like what Eilers brings to the table as a 6-2 190-pound defensive back. Jesuit graduates a talented senior class and he will be heavily influential next season. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2054811' first='Isaac' last='Conner'] 28' DB Mountainside </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Look for Conner to make a nice jump on to the PRZ rankings board when updated for the 28's. He doesn't have elite size but he's always one of the best players on the field. He was a 3rd team all-Metro selection. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2054695' first='Liam' last='Carmichael'] 27' DE Lake Oswego </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Carmichael doesn't necessarily have prototypical size on the D line at 6-1 235 but he has been all over the field making plays for the Lakers on the year. The junior was deserving of his 2nd team all-conference honors. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1708636' first='Jarrett' last='Skinner'] 27' LB Oregon City </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Skinner was slighted on the all-league list. He earned honorable mention accolades, after finishing #1 in the conference with 105 tackles, to go with 14 TFL's, 4.5 sacks, and 2 INTs. OC didn't end the season the way they wanted to but overall it was a decent year. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='845242' first='Sean' last='Bour-Nelson'] 27' CB Lakeridge</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Another athlete with D1 genes who most know about. Bour-Nelson represented well in the secondary earning 2nd team all TRL honors after making 19 tackles with 2 INTs and 8 PBU's during the regular season. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='936893' first='Easton' last='Lawson'] 27' S Lakeridge </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Lawson came up clutch all year finishing among the TRL leaders in tackles (37) among DB's. His 2nd team all TRL selection was deserved. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2054697' first='Carter' last='Lemon'] 27' S Tualatin </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>One of the state's breakout 27's. Statistically Lemon was exceptional, finishing with 59.5 tackles and 2 INTs. The standout hooper will make a nice jump on to the PRZ rankings board and be listed among the top DB's in Oregon for his class. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2054808' first='Silas' last='Gentry'] 27' DB Barlow </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>The basketball standout did well in the secondary for a Bruins team that struggled at 2-7, making his 2nd team all-league honors all the more impressive. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1112464' first='Caleb' last='Jones'] 27' LB Thurston </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Jones had a solid sophomore season and continued to up his stock this year accounting for 5 sacks and 13 tackles for loss. He will be one of the conference POY candidates in 2026. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2054820' first='TyVelle' last='Hill'] 29' DB Roosevelt </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Very few freshman earn 1st team all-conference honors at the 6A level making what Hill did this past season so special. The standout 9th grade hooperhelped Roosevelt to their first PIL title in decades as he looks to be one of the top multi-sport athletes in Oregon. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2054698' first='Caden' last='Seymour'] 27' S West Linn</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Seymour didn't necessarily have a lot of name recognition heading into the season but his 2nd team all-league accolades in the brutally tough TRL helped change that.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='936965' first='Kasen' last='Saffer'] 27' LB Oregon City </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>The undersized LB made big plays all year, finishing with 48 tackles and 8 tackles for loss. He earned 2nd team all TRL honors. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1612569' first='Lincoln' last='Lutu'] 28' LB Beaverton </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Lutu comes from a football family and will project as one of the better LB's in the state for the 2028 class. He earned 3rd team all-Metro Honors. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2054684' first='Caleb' last='Bailie'] 27' DB Westview </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Definitely one of the Metro's breakout athletes. Bailie racked up 1st team all-league honors on D and 3rd team offensively, averaging 4.6 yards per carry with a couple TDs.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2054682' first='Zac' last='Ortiz'] 27' OL/DL Beaverton </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Ortiz is listed at 5-6 190 which makes his all-Metro honors on both sides of the ball (1st O, 2nd D) that much more impressive. He won't project collegiately because of size, but you have to acknowledge the talent. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2054809' first='Lincoln' last='Schmidt'] 27' CB Glencoe </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Glencoe overachieved all year with guys like Schmidt stepping up. He has good size and was instrumental defensively finishing with 3 INTs and 1st team all-Pacific honors.</p>
