Larry Sanders | RB | Lamar | 2026

Sanders delivered multiple momentum-shifting runs against a strong Cy-Fair defense in their matchup. He gashed the Bobcats for 155 yards and two touchdowns, highlighted by a stunning 53-yard burst where he broke through the line and split four defenders with elite top-end speed. Throughout the night, Sanders made backbreaking plays that kept the defense on its heels and gave his team every chance to come away with the win. If he can replicate his play next round, the Texans will be in great position to move on once again.

Jorge Zeledon | OG | Klein Collins | 2026

Zeledon's dominance was on full display against the Bridgeland defensive line. He was MOVING bodies all night, getting under pads, and flat-out tossing defenders out of the club. His physicality set the tone up front, and he played a crucial role in the run game's success, opening lanes as a pulling guard and consistently climbing to the second level on combo blocks. The left side of the line became the offense's go-to side, and Zeledon was a major reason why. A physical, unselfish player whose impact was impossible to ignore.

Hebert picked up right where he left off in the regular season. He was unstoppable against Paetow, repeatedly wearing down a tough defense with his punishing, physical running style. Hebert consistently churned out hard yards until the defense began to crack, then he completely took over. He finished with a staggering 384 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns, including multiple 40+ yard bursts where he simply outran the entire defense. The high-volume workhorse powered the Crusaders to a statement first-round victory, and there's no sign of that momentum slowing down as they head into the next round.

[player_tooltip player_id='409071' first='Braden' last='Baker'] | QB | Cypress Ranch | 2027

Baker delivered a strong first-round performance, locking in when his team needed him and helping spearhead a dominant win. He made timely plays both through the air and on the ground, keeping the Klein defense honest with his mobility. Baker showcased his arm talent throughout the night, hitting deep shots with accuracy and delivering the ball in stride to his receivers. He was efficient from start to finish, guiding a balanced offensive attack and maintaining full command of the game. Baker finished 13-of-17 for 216 yards and two touchdowns, while also adding a rushing touchdown where he shook a defender out of his cleats and got the crowd cheering.

Kaden Lackey | OLB | Klein Collins | 2026

Lackey was a true disruptor off the edge for the Tiger defense. He proved to be a strong, disciplined tackler, crashing down the line and shutting down a potent run game before it could ever find rhythm. His speed as a pass rusher created constant problems for Bridgeland, as he applied quick pressure, got to the quarterback multiple times, and even forced a fumble. Lackey also made his presence felt on special teams, breaking through for a field-goal block that resulted in two points the other way. His effort, urgency, and relentless motor stood out all night, and he'll be a player to watch as the Tigers continue their playoff run.

Jayse Washington | RB | Dickinson | 2028

Washington delivered one of the best individual performances you'll see on a football field in a shootout against Atascocita. His dominant, explosive play was the driving force that pushed the Gators across the finish line, and he left a clear imprint on the game. He finished with 211 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns on just 17 carries, while also adding a receiving score to cap off a massive night. Washington stepped up in every big moment, showcasing powerful running between the tackles, elite speed on the perimeter, and a relentless determination to stay up and fight for extra yards. He proved himself to be a special talent, deserving of every bit of praise after an unforgettable performance.
