The JM Robinson Bulldogs dominated their county rivals, the NW Cabarrus Trojans, this past Friday Night. The Bulldogs won this one in a convincing fashion, 56-6, with the power of a great running game on offense and smothering pursuit on defense. There were some standouts on both teams offensively in this one. Let's take a look at them now.

Aiden played a strong game anchoring the defensive front for the Bulldogs. His presence, along with talented teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1113123' first='Landen' last='Harding'], never allowed the Trojans to get their strong running game going consistently. Aiden ended up totaling 5 tackles and a sack on the night, his impact being felt with the result of several failed Trojan drives via punts and/or turnovers. Aiden is evaluating several college football offers that he has earned currently.

Cameron didn't have a major stat line in this one from his corner spot, picking up 3 tackles on the game. However, he really did well in a lot of pass coverage against star Trojan WR Jaziyah Mclean. The Trojans really tried to get him the ball to get their offense going, but Cameron had multiple pass breakups downfield in tight-man coverage. Cameron has excellent speed and played with great technique all game long.

Totaling 6 tackles on the night, Isaiah was a big part of a great effort in pursuit by the Bulldogs' defense. NW Cabarrus really likes to stress the outside in their run game, but Woodburn and his teammates did a great job in gap integrity and taking great angles to slow down and stop the Trojan run game before it got going. On top of that, Isaiah did a great job tackling well in space, and he was fast and physical to the football all night long.

In my opinion, Kemauri had the play of the game that really killed the spirit of the Trojans. Down 28-6 just before halftime, Northwest Cabarrus had driven the ball to just outside the red zone of the Bulldogs. The Trojans ran a play-action pass, and their receiver bobbled the ball. Kemauri was in a perfect position to catch the ball off the bobble and ran it back 79 yards for a touchdown. Northwest Cabarrus never had a serious scoring threat the rest of the game after this play. It was great speed and coverage discipline by Kemauri on this particular game-changing play.

The Trojans had their share of issues slowing down the Bulldogs in this one, but Terren, from his defensive tackle spot, flashed with multiple tackles for loss. On those plays, Terren showed some good hand usage to shed blocks from the interior of the Bulldogs' offensive line. Terren also showed some leadership, trying to keep his team focused and playing hard for the entire duration of the game, which was impressive to me.
