Meet the New Guys: Class of 2029 Nos. 31-35

I'm slowly changing that.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I've already gone behind the scenes of the creation of this class, with stats, big-picture takeaways, and some class superlatives. This series is different. We're going straight through, from No. 45 to No. 1, to break down every ranked player in the class of 2029. Let's meet the new guys. He has excellent pure speed, but he's even better at getting to that next gear out of his breaks. We like him best as an off-ball linebacker with some pass-rushing upside. I'm interested to see what he does this offseason in the weight room. But he's at his best as an explosive playmaker out of the backfield and as a kick returner. Where he's most impactful is as a single-high safety, where his range and length allow him to be a menace in the passing game. He could be a future two-way player, but he's focused on the running back position as a freshman, running for almost 800 yards and eight touchdowns.
