MCYFL All-Star Game – Freedom Conference Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On an afternoon with conditions harsh enough to make a grown man cry -- complete with wind gusts of 50 mph+, a windchill of 22 degrees and intermittent driving snow -- the Morris County Youth Football League held its first ever All-Star Game(s). The 24-town league, located primarily in northern New Jersey, asked each of the towns with eighth-grade athletes to nominate athletes for the game. Primarily a Defensive Back at this point, the Rockaway Twp. Rocket product recorded an interception on a tough passing day for the Blue offense in the MCYFL Freedom Conference All-Star Game. Johnson also scored a touchdown as a Wide Receiver on the offensive ball, showing that he's not just a one-trick pony. The Player of the Game is not new to impressive performances, as Johnson was a clear standout last year at the <a href="https://prepredzone.com/next/events"><strong>PRZ Next Who's Next Middle School Camp</strong></a> and has continued his play this year as an eighth-grader. Park, the lone representative off a Randolph team that struggled this year, used his wide body to give the opposing team all they would handle--and then some. A starter on both sides of the ball, Park used his mass and low center of gravity to drive the opposition out of the hole as a Center, while clogging up the middle of the line as a Defensive
