Other notes: No. 11 Metairie Park Country Day won its first-round playoff game for the first time since 2022. Fifteen of the 16 teams playing in the second round will be the same as in 2024 with the only differences being Country Day, second-year program Lafayette Renaissance Charter and Holy Savior Menard, which won its second playoff game in three years. But Jewel Sumner and Slaughter Community Charter will mark the only repeat of last year's second-round matchups.
