<p>The LHSAA's postseason format features eight brackets — four "nonselect" and four "select" — full of impressive teams and prospects and intriguing matchups and storylines.</p>

<p>We'll give a quick preview of each, including the top five seeds, four lower seeds to watch for a potential run, up to eight top-ranked prospects, up to five sleeper prospects, an intriguing first-round matchup, a most intriguing potential second-round matchup and an overarching storyline entering the tournament.</p>

<p><strong>Overall Storyline:</strong>The defending champions, Cecelia, enter the bracket at No. 13 but proved last year they can grind it out on the road in the playoffs, as they were seeded No. 18 in their 2024 campaign when they won it all. The top seed North Desoto has experience in the Dome, finishing their 2022 campaign as Runner-ups when [player_tooltip player_id='401978' first='Luke' last='Delafield'] led the team as a freshman. No. 7 Franklin Parish is loaded with future D-1 talent but they will have a tough path to New Orleans, with potential matchups with No. 10 Lutcher, No. 2 Iowa, and No. 3 Belle Chase.</p>
