The Trench Trophy is awarded annually to Western New York's best lineman. Each week, the Trench Trophy committee presents a list of players that showcased excellent ability to control the line of scrimmage for the given games. Here are the Week 9 selections of the best OL/DL prospects.

Ian Chamberlain (Portville) | 6'1 290 lbs. | A tough loss for Portville but Chamberlain gave everything he had. He anchored a line that sprung their running game for 270 yards on the ground and 3 TDs while making 5 tackles on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1742276' first='Mason' last='Conrad'] (Timon) | 6'3 295 lbs. | This was a hard fought league battle and Conrad was a catalyst on the O-Line that ran for over 100 yards. He is a tenacious blocker and with his size should get a lot of looks from colleges this season.

Aiden Cronkhite (Newfane) | 6'2 215 lbs. | Cronkhite led the Panthers in tackles with 7 while anchoring a rushing attack that put over 280 yards on the ground and an astonishing 8 TDs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1549050' first='Jamere' last='Hill'] (McKinley) | 6' 210 lbs. | Hill has had a major impact on the Macks success the last two seasons. He is quick off the ball and a menace for opposing OL. In their big quarterfinal win over Clarence, Jamere led McKinley in tackles with 9 while also adding to their scoring on a 3 yard run.

Tim Kopacz (Lancaster) | 6'4 220 lbs. | Another pure EDGE rusher, Kopacz was huge in the Legends 20-14 win over Niagara Falls as he registered 6 tackles and a remarkable 4 sacks.

Lucas Nosbisch (Silver Creek/Forestville) | 5'11 210 lbs. | Silver Creek posted a shutout in their quarterfinal matchup against Randolph. Nosbisch was a pivotal part as the Black Knights ran for 200 yards and a TD. Lucas also added a couple tackles on the DL.

[player_tooltip player_id='1344712' first='Kurt' last='Stevens'] (Lackawanna) | 6' 305 lbs. | I started covering Stevens two years ago and he has been a menace on both sides of the ball. With his high motor and being well conditioned, he was a critical part in the Steelers 1 point victory over Pioneer. Lackawanna ran for 117 yards and a TD while Stevens himself had 11 tackles from his DT position.
