Jackson 12-0 vs Lee's Summit 8-4

Jackson Key Players:

QB Drew Parsons (6'0" 180) Sr. - The hero of the quarterfinal win by the Indians used his arm and legs to lead his team to victory rushing for 144 yards, including the key first down run on 4th and 5, and passing for over 200 yards. Drew is a dual threat playmaker who finds way to make the yards needed and score when his team needs to score. Good, accurate arm and has impressive run skills in an open field.

RB [player_tooltip player_id='1131009' first='Jaylon' last='Hampton'] (5'7" 175) Jr. - The quick and elusive Hampton has good speed and runs hard between the tackles, but can bounce outside and take it the distance as well. He had a couple of touchdown runs and complements Parsons well in the backfield. He's also a receiving threat for defenses to watch when he doesn't have the ball in his hands.

WR Jory Thoma (6'0" 180) Jr. - Was super impressed with the talented receiver who hauled in three touchdowns last weekend. Thoma has deceptive speed and was able to get behind defenders or make a grab and outrun a group of would be tacklers. Runs good routes and finds open space. Showed great hands and concentration.

OT [player_tooltip player_id='1585595' first='Brysen' last='Wessell'] (6'5" 275) Sr. -Mizzou commit anchors the Indians offensive line and is an outstanding pass and run blocker. One of the most athletic offensive line prospects in the Midwest. His tenacious play and leadership is contagious to his younger O-Line teamates.

OT [player_tooltip player_id='1669358' first='Brayden' last='Harris'] (6'7" 285) Jr. - The next big time offensive lineman to come out of Jackson and the entire state of Missouri. Already has multiple D1 offers and will continue to rise among colleges with his play this season. Harris is also big, athletic and plays with an attitude you want in the trenches.

Lee's Summit Key Players:

WR [player_tooltip player_id='1128438' first='Karsten' last='Fiene'] (6'2" 200) Sr. - One of the top athletes and football players in his class on both sides of the ball. Can do it all on offense as a runner, receiver and can also throw the ball if need be in the Tigers run heavy Wildcat offense. Uses his 4.5 speed well on the football field. Flips over to defense and is one of their top defenders at safety. Has over 1,400 yards and 20 touchdowns this season.

RB [player_tooltip player_id='2004012' first='Preston' last='Hatfield'] (5'9" 180) Sr. - Was injured early in the season but has been a real spark plug for the Tigers offense since his return. Had a great game against North Kansas City I was on the sidelines to watch as he helped lead them to victory with multiple touchdowns. Has great speed, vision and burst to separate from defenders with the ball in his hands.

ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1590205' first='Drew' last='Benassi'] (6'3" 200) Jr. - Another very talented and versatile athlete the Tigers seem to have plenty of on this year's team. The rangy defender covers a lot of ground at his safety position and plays the run and pass covers very well. Is also a key role in the offensive group that has a hot hand at the moment. Has accounted for 700 Total Yards 7 TDs total offense, and has recorded 94 Tackles, 15 TFLS and 3 Sacks on defense.

OT [player_tooltip player_id='1667951' first='Will' last='Seiler'] (6'6" 280) Jr. - A rising offensive tackle getting attention from colleges who has been the anchor of the offensive line that has run wild in the post-season playoffs to this point. Great size, with long arms and good blocking skills, especially in the run game.
