[player_tooltip player_id='1294184' first='Ridge' last='Janes'], TE De Smet (6'5" 235)
- The talented tight end holds on to his number one spot from the preseason as he finished with a strong sophomore season for his young team that had it's struggles at times against one of the toughest schedules in the state. Janes is also the most heavily recruited prospect in the class with almost 30 offers so far from most of the biggies. He has great size, runs well, does a great job finding and creating space on his routes, and has reliable hands. He is also a tough, physical receiver after the catch who can lower the boom and pick up extra yards. Ridge is versatile and can be used as a H-back, fullback to run or block, be an inline TE or line up line a receiver. On the season he had 43 catches for 433 yards and 3 touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='1405389' first='Darrius' last='Smiley'], OT St. Mary's (6'6" 275)
- A big very athletic offensive lineman who runs very well and is quick with good feet. He continues to grow and get bigger and strong and plays with attitude. His technique has improved from his freshman season with his pass pro and he is a powerful run blocker who can get downfield in second level blocks with his speed. Uses his hands well and finishes his blocks. Does a great job protecting his quarterbacks blind spot and helping to open holes for the top running back in the 2027 class. Hold four D1 offers already and is being recruited by schools like Notre Dame, Iowa, Wisconsin, Missouri and Oklahoma.

[player_tooltip player_id='1312910' first='Max' last='Jones'], WR/TE Parkway North (6'5" 205)
- A name for everyone to remember who hasn't been talked about yet on a national level. He has great size at six-foot-five and runs like a gazelle with very good speed and can cover a lot of ground in a hurry. Is a deep threat downfield, over the middle, in short yardage situations and as a red zone target. Max has great body control and can get up for passes and catches them at the highest point. Also lays out and can make the grab. Is physical and could wind up playing TE but has the skills now as a receiver. Had a big sophomore season with 39 catches for 419 yards and 7 touchdowns. Look for his role to grow even more next season and his recruiting profile to grow in the offseason,

[player_tooltip player_id='1598550' first='Ryan' last='Richmond-McDavis'], WR Cardinal Ritter (6'2" 175)
- A big play receiver who leads his receiving corps of one of the final four teams playing to go to the state championship in touchdowns. The lean, speedy receiver is a definite deep threat that defenses have to make sure doesn't get behind their secondary with his pass catching ability. Sure-handed and runs good routes. Good burst to catch up to balls and get separation to from defensive backs. Already has a few D1 offers already and more on the way. Averaged over 18 yards per catch on 37 catches for over 700 yards for his Lions.

[player_tooltip player_id='1059896' first='Brock' last='Barrows'], OL Lee's Summit West (6'3" 275)
-Another D1 offensive lineman who I've been watching develop since he was an eighth grader. Good size, powerful and works hard in the weight room and is strong from it. On top of that he is athletic, moves well and can run. Plays left tackle but will play center or guard on the next level, which he has a few offers from already such as Arkansas and Kentucky. Talented as a run blocker and pass protector. Stacks up the pancakes and is nasty in the trenches. Major colleges are hovering around him and having him come in for game day visits this season. His offer list will continue to grow in the offseason. Tireless worker who also played defensive line this season and did a great job.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598517' first='Cameran' last='Sharp'], RB De Smet (5'10" 170)
- Speedy, elusive all-purpose back that runs hard between the tackles or can bounce outside and pick up big chunks or yardage or take it to the house on any given play. Got better as the season went along. Has good vision, follows his blocks well but doesn't need a big opening to get into the secondary and make his moves. He's dangerous in space running the ball and as a receiving threat. Had 1,940 all-purpose yards (1,474 rushing - 466 yards receiving) averaging 7.5 yards per carry and with 21 touchdowns overall playing against the very best competition in the start and around the country. Has a couple of D1 offers already with that number sure to increase this offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='1405378' first='Zayre' last='Thomas'], DL Raytown South (6'3" 245)
- Big, strong and cat like quickness makes Thomas a dangerous defensive lineman for opposing offenses to worry about. Another young player who has been on colleges radars since middle school, Zayre started as a freshman last year and showcased his talent enough to pick up offers from Iowa State and Minnesota. He's versatile and plays defensive end now but has the frame, skills and athleticism to move inside and be a tough three-technique on the next level if he gets bigger. Good first step and ability to use his hands to fight off and shed blocks. Tough against the run as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598516' first='Blake' last='Nesbitt'], LB Kirksville (6'3" 215)
- This very talented young linebacker prospect followed up a very good freshman year with a spectacular sophomore season. He had already landed offers from Houston and Mizzou following his first year of high school football. This season he dominated on both defense and offense as a tight end. Blake recorded 117 total tackles with 11 tackles for loss, and 2 interceptions for 105 yards in returns from his linebacker position. On offense he also had 35 receptions for for 487 yards with 3 touchdowns. He also blocked 5 punts during the season and was a factor in all three facets of the game. Nesbitt possesses great size with a frame to get even bigger, has good strength, speed, quickness and overall athleticism. He is a sideline-to-sideline defender who is strong against the run and also in pass coverage.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598541' first='Anthony' last='Busby'], LB SLUH (6'1" 210)
- Another very talented linebacker who already has D1 offers from Mizzou, Indiana and Nebraska. Can play all the LB spots, drop in pass coverage and rush the QB. He's a hybrid who can do a lot of things on the football field and was one of the top defenders on his team as a sophomore. He's fast and physical, is quick and likes to hit and make ball carriers pay. He has good strength and reads plays very well and reacts quickly. This past season he led his team in tackles with 87 overall and had 4 sacks in helping lead his team to their best season in years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1222940' first='Kingston' last='McPike'], WR CBC (5'11" 165)
- Forced to sit out the 2025 season after transferring to CBC from North Point in the offseason. McPike was one of the top freshman in the state in 2024 after starting on varsity and having along 400 yards receiving. Although he couldn't play on varsity he did play JV ball where he dominated and showed improved skills and athleticism that would have helped the Cadets varsity squad this season. He has good speed and is dangerous as a deep threat as well as in space with the ability and quick change of direction elusiveness to weave his way through and around defenses to score.
